We have been wanting to play the UFO catchers at Round 1 for a long time. We finally got the opportunity to play the UFO claw machines when we were on our trip in Texas! These claw machines are not meant to be played like average claw machines. Instead of picking up prizes outright, players must be creative and find ways to nudge, push, or tilt prizes to win them. We played a variety of the UFO catchers in hopes of winning a lot of prizes. Who do you think will win the most prizes today?

The white bear is called Korilakkuma (the girl) and the brown is called Rilakkuma (the boy). It's a really cute Japanese character and those plushies are worth a lot of money, you guys should've maybe tried harder! Congrats on what you won •~•

The brown bear is Rilakkuma and the white one is Korilakkuma. Rilakkuma is a combination of the phonetics for Relax (rirakkusu) and Kuma (which is Japanese for bear).

im so glad you guys are playing round one machines, these are actually about skill, i mean the other normal claws are too, but they are so rigged, and with these ufo one if you dont aim for the right spot u wont win, but if you aim correctly the prize is yours!

I finally went to my first round 1 in Bloomington Illinois ,it was so fun but so difficult,!I won a blue hello kitty box plush from the ping pong thing on my first try! So cool!

With UFO catchers, you need to aim for tipping it rather than picking it up. So go for the heaviest part, or push it down like you started to figure out, or use the power of the claws arms opening to push the item in.

The prizes are placed in a predetermined position in each machine. There is only one prize in the play area at once.

I love Round 1! But I spend too much money there. 😖 OH! And they said if the plush is off the cushions fully, it's an automatic win. So you really did win the pink one. Just have to ask the employees next time
