These thoughts kept runing through my head: Queen at Live Aid: Queen and Freddie Mercury had played stadiums around the world, but that was long ago and their fortunes had dimmed considerably since those days. The movie tells it all, but watching the real thing (available on RU-vid) is even better. They put on the show of their lifetimes - indeed of ANYONE's lifetimes. The members themselves admitted later that even they were awed by the crowd, even more so than the crowds at their stadium concerts during the peak of their popularity. I see this concert as Now United's "Live Aid". They went all out in the show of their lives and the stadium literally shook. I don't know whether we will see Now United like this ever again, but is was truly magical. The other thought: Sina. When she told us of her dream to sing in front of crowds someday. Of course, all of the members of Now United must have the same dream. But here it is. It's real. It's happening. I couldn't stop crying. I am so happy for her and for all the members of Now United as well as the support and training teams that have worked to make this happen. Again, truly magical. I will never forget it.
