Our First Time Fishing At Todber Manor Fisheries...Red Letter Session on Little Hayes!

I travel to Dorset for my first ever trip to Todber Manor Fisheries to fish Little Hayes lake.
I fished with Callum (The Camo King) and Matt with the Mrs coming along as well for her first 48hour session.
This session was an absolute roller coaster of a session with many ups and downs. More importantly, a lot of Carp being caught and put on the bank making this a Red letter session and a social I will never forget.
Good times, Good people, Good fishing...what more could you want?

@@ChunksterFishing iam on little hayes thursday doing a 36hour. tryed booking big hayes butt wasn’t available because i needed 2 swims. fingers crossed .. i should hook a couple gooood luck on weedend. ive just started watching your videos. brilliant stuff. thanks for taking time and making them. tine lines

Cheers bud! If you are on little hayes it seemed that the solid bags with bottom hookbaits seemed to do the business. With fishmeal based baits over the top...maybe start with a bout 5 spombs and then do another 2 every couple of hours to keep it topped up. The margins to the island and just off the island toward open water seemed to have the most activity.

No gravel on todber atall mate just clay it was made that way when they built it for minimal maintenance. Some of the clay is really hard and is good spot to get your rods on if you find it. Great place to go, last peg to your left or opposite and right of where you were is a good holding area if you decide to go again, I fish there alot. I'm on 27th, hoping they are either of holding off or have finished spawning. We're there any signs of it when you were there?
