Black Thought is in my all time top 5. I always wanted to have him and KRS-1 on a track together. Throw Rakim in there and you have the base for the Hip Hop Avengers. Black Thought one of the illest to do it. His freestyle is cold. His pen is colder. If you want more, check out "You got me" by his group The Roots, ft Erykah Badu. It is, IMO, one of the greatest hip hop songs ever. The writing is superb with Black Thought at his story telling best. Eve supplies bars as the love interest in the story and Erykah Badu comes through with one of the most iconic hooks in hip hop. And then, when you think it can't get any better, Quest Love hits you with one of the best drum solos in music. The video is great as well. You gotta peep it. ✌🏾
