I'm from Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok is my favourite big city in Southeast Asia. A bustling city with lovely friendly people and great food. Malaysians of all races love Thailand! 🥰

Thank you for showing the real Bangkok. All people around the world will see that Bangkok is not like the advertisement of the smartphone fruit company.
You can walk from Lumpini Park to Benjakitti Park. There’s walkway called the Green Mile that connecting between this 2 parks. Benjakitti Park is bigger and newer than Lumpini Park. This park is the new landmark of Bangkok. I’m sure that you would love Benjakitti Park too. Finally, welcome to Thailand. Thanks for visiting our country.
I'm an ESL teacher who left a job in a random town in Thailand (haven't even been to Bangkok yet) and trying to decide between taking an okay-ish paying job in Bangkok or a high-paying job in Vietnam. I think this is my sign to move to Bangkok and have a fun, happy albeit broke life for a bit...
1:44 The weather is hotter than the past few years. Because of global warming (El Niño) and will continue to be hot like this until next year Please maintain your health by carrying drinking water with you wherever you go. to prevent heatstroke And another tip is to wear bright or light colors, not dark colors like black. Or dark blue (navy blue), etc., because these dark colors will absorb sunlight. and absorb heat The more it heats up several times than before.
You guys are awesome: dorky, relatable, respectful and adventurous. I get disappointed with a lot of travel channels for always acting like they're the main protagonist in the world or not really being good at adapting to stuff that's different from what they're used to, but you guys have a great energy. Subbed!
I'm a Thai living in Southern Thailand (NST) I didn't know going around the city of Bangkok was that convenient just by walking and riding on trains lol it'd been many years since I've been there. nice Bangkok videos :) I really need to go there someday
Your 1st dish called "Kao Pad Kaprao" (fried pork with hot basil leaves with rice) the 2nd was "Moo krob" (crispy pork with rice). For the shaved ice mixed sweets you had at Siam Paragon; green bean actually was rice noodle, sweet potatoes actually were bananas, squash thing was Thai cantaloupe.
Thailand has 77 provinces, Bangkok being the main city. I want you to try going to other provinces. Very beautiful, got to see more than being in the main city in the provinces, got to meet real Thai people, there were only a few foreigners.
You can also feel the heat similar to what you experience in Bangkok in other cities in Southeast Asia (apart from maybe upper Vietnam and the highlands of each country), depending on the season and period you visit. Normally, before the rain when humidity surges, it can make you feel very uncomfortable because the water can't evaporate from your body. People would prefer dry heat in that case. What you feel isn’t the warmest Bangkok can offer; it’s just another normal day in the rainy season. However, Bangkok can be significantly warmer than other cities, particularly in the summer when temperatures can go up to 43 degrees Celsius plus humidity in the worst years. Before, 40 degrees Celsius was very rare and hard to come by, but it has become the new normal for at least the last 10 years. Bangkok is flat and full of concrete, which also produces tons of pollution that traps the heat like an oven. Yangon is also flat but much greener, though it can still reach 40 degrees Celsius. Jakarta is similar to the south of Thailand, and Malaysia rains more often, so the heat can't accumulate for long. Anyway, Bangkok can be below 20 degrees Celsius in a very rare good cold season, which the south of Thailand and below will never experience such temperatures.
Bangkok is just controlled Chaos, and I love it for it, best city in the world, been to many of the major city's but Bangkok is the only one of them I do not hesitate to revisit every year, it's just another world. The food, the people, the culture, the mix of modern and old, it is perfect.
Thank you for visiting Thailand, hope you have good time here. Please come back again because there are many interesting places in Thailand waiting for your visit.
The ice-shaved dessert is called "LOD CHONG" made from floor+sugar+pandan IT IS REALLY SWEET, SO YOU NEED MORE ICE IN IT. And the sausage you mentioned i think it is banaba
For any dishes that you don’t want it to be spicy, you can say “mai ped” = not spicy “Mai sai prig” = no chili “Ped noi” = less spicy “Ped nid noi” = a little spicy When order Somtum, don’t say a little bit spicy, because they usually put 3-5 chilis for a little bit spicy level. You can specify the level of spiciness by say“somtum prig ….[number]… med” for example, “somtum prig nueng med”= somtum with one chili. “somtum prig sawng med” = som tum with two chilis. 22:20 that’s not green beans, it’s pandan flour/tapioca in coconut milk and coconut sugar
I could be totally wrong, but I'm pretty sure no one else cares which side they walk on, that seems to be a US thing! We drive on the left here in the UK, and we don't give a flying frack about where we walk, we just take the path of least resistance! 😄
🌹📍Recommend you to travel to Phuket. You will meet people from many different countries. There's a beautiful sea waiting for you both. Phuket near my house🇹🇭🙏😍
I believe the green bean you mentioned in the bowl of your dessert with shaved ice is not green bean. In fact, it's made from flour and green pandan leaf color. At some food courts, you have to buy a food court card and use that card to buy food. When you finish your meal, you can use that card to redeem your money that left in the card.
