hey half japanese girl here, make sure you look up what NOT to do in japan, everyone is just super respectful of others & they can find it rude when you do things like walking around with food, or sitting in the handicap seats in trains, using the right side of the stairs, talking on trains , etc. just be aware and do a little research to know of their little rules to be respectful and enjoy your experience there! i used to go every summer since i was a baby and up till covid i visited my grandparents. everyone is so nice and have manners, there’s so much to do there & it’s less expensive! & there food is so good 😩❤️honestly we all need to move to japan america is trash compared to japan in my opinion 😭🪬

Not Eating while walking and keeping quiet in trains are some of the basic manners in Japan.

Omg! I love and miss Japan so so much!! 🥹 I wish I could’ve visited Tokyo!! I lived in Okinawa for 5 years when I was younger and only got to travel to Kyoto. The old capital of Japan. 🥰 Got to see amazing temples!! And the food!! Don’t even get me started and all their different vending machines!!! 😂😍 And they are the friendliest! You went to PH during Summertime. Tokyo is in Spring so it’s not as cold as Winter but Autumn is definitely awesome in Japan. Summer there (June-July) is hotter than PH. June and July in PH is rainy season. Riding trains in Japan and Korea is very quiet. It’s etiquette and not be a bother to others. Trains there and each stations are cleaned everyday that is why it’s very clean. You can leave your stuff in Japan and no one will steal it. That chewy one you ate is a mochi one made of rice flour.

They are mic’d. It’s going to appear louder. I can’t imagine they would just be yelling.

Charles & Alyssa, I was born in Japan & now in the U.S., I’m considered as a hafu, Tokyo is where it’s at for the city lights & the restaurants, stick to ramen, おそば or おそうめん , in English we say Osoba or osomen is a really popular food in Tokyo, another few has to be rolling sushi or ramen. I know u guys want Japanese Street Food Charles & Alyssa but u will find really the best Japanese street food in Kyoto, Osaka & Yokohama!! Don’t get too offended they are really nice people it’s just the Japanese way they don’t like to be in situations, Japanese are very respectful and cordial & very neat and clean as well.
