Ballon d'or the word is in french and it literally means Golden ball in english , it is the supreme individual award in soccer/football that every player dreams to win it one day . It is so hard to win it unless being a beast trhougout the whole season.

Keep in mind btw, Benzema is more than just a goal scorer. He’s not just a classic No.9, he’s also a 10. He used to assist Ronaldo when he was the main man. Since 2018, when Ronaldo left, Benzema had to take responsibility. He has not only outshone him, but cemented his place in the history books. As a Madrid fan, I love both. Ronaldo is Madrid’s all time top scorer and second highest assister and Benzema is Madrid’s second highest scorer and top assister of all time. Benzema watched Ronaldo lift the Ballon d’Or all those years and now he will lift it. He deserves it!

Not only this year but i dont think we have ever seen a player this clutch in a champions league season history in the knockout stage, only Ronaldo 2016/17 is comparable and Benzema is on the cuss of breaking Ronaldo's 10 goal ucl knockout stage record in a champions league cause Benz has 10 but has a chance to break it.

He's such a complete player. The ball control, reactions, power, finishing, weak foot, vision, pressing, heading and fitness are just out of this world. He can literally score any type of goal and open up any defense. Deserves the ballon dor for sure.

It's rare to have your best season as a goal scorer at age 34 , but he's clearly been the best player on the planet this season. But also he played majority of his career alongside Ronaldo so he had less touches and was not the focal point of the attack but they did win a lot so it's like an NBA superteam , numbers go down but you win. Next season will be interesting if they sign Mbappe will be like adding KD to the Warriors.

c'est a cause de cette rue et de ces mauvaises frequentations qu'il a perdu des années dans sa cariere. quand on traine avec des gangsters et des rappeurs on recolte que du negatif. avec son talent et son potentiel il aurait pu faire bcp mieux que ça meme s'il a deja fait beaucoup cette annee, c'est dire le talent du mec. un gachis , le joueur le plus sous estimé de l'histoire du foot mais il l'a un peu cherché

Thank you guys i've been waiting for that reaction! KB9 is a beast , he deserved to win the Ballon d'Or (MVP) this year. Benzema is a sort of combo between Zidane and brasilian Ronaldo, he got a bit of the technical skills and soccer IQ of Zizou and he is an offensive lethal weapon kinda like R9 was (btw he always said that his childhood idol was Ronaldo). As a french fan i cannot ask for a better offensive line :Benzema/Mbappe, come on man...maybe the top 2 players in the world from the past 2 or 3 years 🔥🔥

Are you mad 😂 this is everything Benzema has done he’s just really consistent with it now. This is the perfect display of what he’s capable of. Karim has Ben the same player for years and people are now realizing it.

@@danielross4242 i agree in a way because Karim is a good player for a long time (i remember seeing him against my hometown in 2008 when he was playing for Lyon and he was already a top player in Ligue 1). But you can't hide the fact that he step up to another dimension since CR7 left Madrid. He came from a good player to a top player , now he is Real Madrid captain and fan's favorite, he is back in french national team after a long time of being "unwanted", he won the Nation League with France being a huge part of it by playing in an amazing level. And now he is about to win the Ballon d'Or ! Karim is like red wine, he ages well.

@@zobbilamouche1302 bro Benzema is the same player he’s always been, there’s just a difference is his roles. He always had the ability to score and create goals. He played a completely different role when Ronaldo was in the team but his work rate and efficiency is the same. Benzema was always a clinical finisher, what’s he’s doing now he’s always been able to do. When you have a player like Ronaldo in your team for some years you are obviously overshadowed. Benzema has Real Madrid to himself so he’s able to showcase what he’s been doing for year.

@@danielross4242 yeah you're right but i maintain that KB9 ages very well. Compared to french talented players of the same age (34) such as BenArfa, Menez or Nasri, he is having an excellent second half in his career. Most of them are forgotten or retired whereas Karim is about to win the Ballon d'Or. I'm still amazed that France managed to win the World Cup 2018 without him, what a luxury!

Ballon dor will be given before the world cup and what benzema has done this season in the champions league has never happened before, only ronaldo in 2016/17 was as clutch in a champions league season as benzema this season. And dude, Benzema has 44 goals and 15 assists, and has been the most clutch player in a champions league knockout season history, scoring 10 goals as much as ronaldo ever did and could break it soob. easy ballon dor for him, statistically and collectively he is the best in the world

Yes he played with cristiano, and they won many trophies together including 4 Champions leagues ( the equivalent of 4 “rings”) In a way he was the Scottie Pippen to Cristiano’s MJ. His role was much more of a facilitator and creator than a primary goalscorer when Cristiano Ronaldo was at the club. Also truly underrated his whole career, he’s one of the greatest striker ever in my opinion. KB9⚒⚒⚒

This isn't a good video if you want to see what Benzema does, this is just goals..50 goals at that. He creates a lot, skillful dribbler for a striker, excellent passer, assists a lot...this video doesn't show Benzema's game.
