What a wonderful video... Thank you for reading all the signs and taking your time to show us all the different sites. It's just so relaxing to watch your videos. Thank you and your mom and dad for sharing. I really do appreciate it. Hope you all have a wonderful day.

I try to make videos that I’d want to watch myself. I read the signs because I know that not everyone can see them from their tv or phone. I hope that you have a wonderful day as well.

My last comment disappeared again . I'll try to remember what i wrote . Nice !! A history and recreational park in one . The park museum was sad and interesting at the same time . Good catch on seeing the alligator , all i saw was the sign , lol . I was surprised the gator didn't take off when you walked over there , glad he/she didn't. Maybe when you go back and stay at one of the cabins you can get lucky and see a few more . That one white flower in the middle of the field was beautiful . It was like it grew there for all those who passed away on that site . Thank you for visiting and sharing this beautiful park with us. Y'all stay safe . 😊 Mom looked cute with her hair pulled up like she had it .

This park was interesting. The museum was nicely done. The gator was very relaxed. They rarely move when I photograph or film them. I watch carefully what I’m doing when I’m around them. I just pray that whatever I’m walking on doesn’t break and I fall in the water. I’ll let mom know that you liked her hair in this video.

@@TravelingtheSoutheast I know you are careful around them but it doesn't take much for things to go bad . Y'all have a good evening and a good night . 😊

I’ve only been scared once around alligators and that was a few years ago when we were in a boat tour at the Okefenokee and the guide parked the boat around where a lot of alligators looked like they were jumping in the air. I like them, but that was way too close for comfort. They could have easily ate all of us that day.

Agree with all of your comments and opinions on this park .Lots of pros about it and those cabins look beautiful. Maybe they are cheaper than any in South Carolina to rent. Thanks again for this interesting video.

They are much nicer than the cabins in SC. A lot of the cabins in our parks are historic CCC cabins. I stayed at Barnwell State Park last year for $97 per night. The nicest place I’ve stayed in SC is at Devils Fork State Park in a couple of the villas during the off season. They are very nice, but very pricey. I booked it at 40% off during a winter promotion they had. The most expensive house to stay in in a SC park is at St Phillips Island. You can rent what was once Ted Turner’s house between $20,000 and $25,000 for one week. That’s definitely out of my budget.

$200/night for cabin is not too bad. Is that less than South Carolina? Cabin 8 sounded like the least and less than two hundred/night. Thans for info.

It’s not too bad of a price for a whole house. They look beautiful inside from pictures I have seen online.
