This is probably the hardest job we have ever done. There was a massive amount of rubbish to be removed from this very steep property. The house was undergoing a complete renovation in preparation for the property to be sold, and we were hired to clean up all the mess, mostly outside, but quite a bit inside as well. The transformation is amazing, so watch until the end. The job was done over a day and a half, there were about 7 loads to the tip and around 3 tonnes of material all up were taken out. We took out a lot of timber & wood, a few electrical appliances, building material and heaps of odds and ends. We did keep some larger, nicer timber, but unfortunately most went to the tip. Also, we didn't reverse the trailer down the drive because it was much too steep. This is part 1 of 3.

Part 03: • 3rd Time Lucky | Retur...
Workers on this job: George (long pants) & Nick (shorts).

FAQ's:
Q: Do you worry about snakes?
A: I have never even seen a snake in 4 years on the job.
Q: Where are you located?
A: We are from Hobart, Tasmania, Australia 🦘🦘🦘.
Q: Which equipment do you use?
A: We use mostly STIHL power equipment (battery and petrol) and commercial Honda self-propelled mowers.
Q: How much do the jobs cost?
A: Sorry, I prefer not to talk about costs!
Q: What happened to Nick?
A: Nick was offered a full-time position at his other job as a Political admin!
Q: Why don't you use tarps instead of cans?
A: Tarps are too difficult to move through small spaces and lift into the trailer. The same for wheelbarrows, they are only good for unloading the trailer!
Q: Why are the hot water cylinders outside?
A: I'm not really sure to be honest, maybe something to do with space & maintenance, but either way, it really is poor heat efficiency!
Q: Why are you cutting so close to your employee!
A: I'm not cutting too close to my workers, they are standing too close to where I am working! All of my workers have been told numerous times about standing too close to the tools and about the hazards involved!
Q: Why do your workers do all the lifting and carrying?
A: Basically, they are employed to carry things and I pay them well to do the job required.
Q: You work so well together, how do you do it?
A: That's the magic of editing. My workers are basically given instructions on what to do, I just edit it all out, so the videos look seamless!

My dad passed away 4 years ago. Last year I finally tackled his "I am going to get to it someday' piles around his shop. It was in the front, on the side, in the back and then I moved inside his shop. I worked on it for 2 and a half months. 5 trips to the scrap metal yard later it is like it never was there. You all did a great job!!! It's always nice to see your accomplishments at the end.

I'm sure the views must be amazing from the property but no one could ever pay me enough to want to have to go up and down that drive in my car every day! Great job on your part.

Omg I felt so bad for both of you going up and down that very steep driveway. Your legs had to be hurting the next day. You did excellent work. The contractor doing the renovation should have been responsible for clearing away all that debris. Great job both of you!

Great Jobs, Guys. Must have the stamina and some good strong legs to go up and down the slope
@miriam100ful
people usually hire a skip to dump their bulky rubbish in. You guys are heroes for doing these kinds of jobs, and for free. This is not even what you would call gardening but rubbish removal.

You guys are worth every cent you are paid .

This job gives new meeting to the question “how do you eat an elephant?” I had many questions watching this like, why did they not bring in a dumpster? And why didn’t you bring your truck down the driveway. But I understood the challenge it would’ve brought if you had and you would’ve if you could’ve. Amazing cleanup! I’m sore watching you work!

Whatever you got paid I would've added $500 to it off the books. Massive job and worthy of a big bonus. Well done!

My lord, what a steep incline and GREAT work ethic you guys have. I would get a sturdy golf bag carrier and strap on that trash can so you can wheel it to the truck. I made one for gardening and it saves me from carrying it. I live in Ohio. I took a washing machine to the curb and before I reached my front door some guy pulled in to take it. I said I had a dryer, fridge and stove. They all worked but I got all new. He was floored and took them all. People recycle big time around here. I put a hot water tank outside and It was gone in 10 minutes.
