Hey man. Earlier today I was looking for Immigrant Song bass cover and I clicked on your video. I really liked it and then, after a few hours, I wanted to hear a bass cover of one of mine all-time favourite songs - Our House and there you are again, rocking that bass out!

The first time I heard this song in 1985. Since then, this song became one of my favorites... Including the bass at the beginning of the song, and a short guitar solo. And now the lyrics of this song leads to tears from nostalgic memories of the past.

@Imakecents Thanks. I've had many videos blocked but found the dispute process easy to follow and would "unblock" the videos immediately. I put in my "statement" that I'm posting the videos for demonstration and educational purposes. I think RU-vid has changed the way the process works in that they won't unblock the video until they hear back from the content owners. I'm not 100% sure about this though. Try the dispute process, there's nothing to lose.

I've been thinking about that one.

I learned how to play bass by covering Madness songs. That and drums and piano. Glad to see it here. Mark Bedford created a lot of variety in his bass lines throughout their 80s heyday. Really enjoying your virtually authentic covers...'No Reply At All,' 'Fly by Night,' 'Rio,' this, great fun to watch/hear. Another one I like by them is 'Not Home Today,' though while the bass has a nice fretful sound to it you may find it repetitive since it is largely a i-v progression. E minor/B minor.

You did this cover, like all your covers, very well. I sort of got some tips by watching yours. I did this same cover a few days ago, unfortunately it didn't get by the censors. I can't understand it seeing as I used a youtube video as the background music, and I know I don't play better bass than you. Unfortunately this has happened to me with about a fifth of my cover videos. I love RU-vid, yet I also hate RU-vid, if you know what I mean. If you got any suggestions, let me know. Thanks
