Each year we go all out decorating for Christmas. More and more is added each time. This year we climb the stairs with trees, decorations and lights. Many of the items are secondhand and quite a few are handmade. Check out the "aluminum" tree upstairs. It's a cheap 6 foot tree from Five Below that I spray painted with chrome spray paint for that retro look! It took a full month to decorate this year. What's your favorite part?

I grow my decoration collection by buying them on clearance after Christmas every year, and also the Dollar Store has some of the best wooden signs! I must have at least a dozen I got from there now. I've got 13 giant plastic bins with just my Christmas stuff alone in storage!

I do the same thing! And have also found a lot at Goodwill. I make a lot of things and utilize the dollar store a TON!!! I think my favorite new addition was the “aluminum” tree. $12 tree from Five Below and chrome spray paint. A real one would have been $300-$400.

Thank you. You can find great deals on train sets like these online. Especially on amazon leading up to Christmas. I purchased this one on sale with a coupon code for about $8! I also purchased another one that isnt in the video (it will be added next year) for about $12. They arent the best quality and don’t work too very long, but they look great and for the price you can’t beat it. Hope you can find one!
