Good for you dude. This got recommended to me out of the blue, figured I'd comment for the algorithm. While I'm not much of a metroidvania fan, this looks fantastic for the poor folks still waiting on Silksong.
I love this game :D really love the art the idea the vibe, and you have a really nice voicee. I have one idea: Instead of only adding a particle system after an enemy death, you could add a body without any colliders too like in hollow kngiht :D
Yea I will likely make a proper video about how I went about it sometime soon. The RU-vid audience is big but you can build it quickly if you’re taking RU-vid seriously.
I'm excited to see how this turns out! It's obvious that you're nervous, and that's fine. Nervous is the natural reaction here. Trust yourself, and your community (though careful on the community, because the brain cells scale linearly when the community size scales exponentially ;-) )
Nowadays people can get help from everywhere by everyone So many people people helping eachother out to accomplish great things This game about a humanoid onion traveling around seems interesting and I look forward into buying it..when it comes out
Any way you could include a Grape Hyacinth monster or character or maybe have a section where the character traverses a "river" of them? The bulb looks just like an onion and they grow in the south among other places.
