Been a fan of your work over at Corridor, and Im happy to have stumbled upon the fact that youre now making a VR game. It was really cool to see your insight of how you got started, and Im wishing you and the team the best with your game! Ill be sticking around to see progress and how it all goes.
Honestly this is one of the best looking VR games I've seen in a while! Hope that zombies, fartbirth and inflated buttocks still make it into the early access!
Great looking project. Wishlisted! I've been dabbling in indie game dev (mostly VR) for a few years now, too. Finally quit my job in early 2023 to focus on my projects...but some health and family challenges derailed things and I feel the lack of a boss and structure all too real. My goal is to refocus this year and get some tangible progress made. It helps to see progress of others to get some inspiration and motivation myself.
In the Intro i was like wait...NoDE??? Hell yea your himm??? Sub!!!! Instant Subscription bro Node is some of the best content from 2011 - 2017 as the boys hung out and jammed out to lan party games before they all grew up and had families. Watching you guys grow and break apart like that reminded me of 2 things...Boy meets world season finale, and my personal life. Glad to see you still in action.
I've been looking forward to playing this for so long! I'm so excited to hear that it's releasing soon and can't wait to play. I work at Meta Reality Labs and know some of my colleagues are excited too, so you've got some fans in the Quest family! Don't worry about the delay, these things happen. But also don't let perfection hold you back! You can always push an update :)
i've been super hyped to play this ever since the corridor trailer vid and i'm a huge fun of that visual style :) i gotta ask tho, is there gonna be a spectator cam similar to what bonelab has? for content creators it's such a great feature
This is extremely inspiring. Last year was not a good year for me, but I have been using my newly found free time to do much the same thing you all have, learning Unreal Engine, and trying to build VR games
I love the look, music and just overall vibe… I absolutely adore half-life alyx and I can’t wait to try this. It’s looks very interesting and well made.
@@_spineless no not at all, boneworks shits on bonelab (although bone lab shits on slzs credibility and the legacy of one of the best vr games ever made)
@@Nedddo Boneworks’ campaign is much better, but Bonelab’s engine and modding capabilities are far greater than Boneworks’. The game was meant to be a mid-point between Boneworks and the second half of Project 4, so I wouldn’t say it’s a shit on Boneworks. Obviously it has a much worse campaign, but it has more features and there are tons of super fun mods to mess around with along with a ton of sandbox maps they give you. It was never meant to be Boneworks 2, and it’s an entirely different game in general, so I don’t think it should crapped on so much lol
I'm getting a dedicated router february 16th to play PCVR properly and I stumbled upon this with a release date of February 29th. Definitely going into my wishlist!
Woah, well excited! Just started the video and looks fab. Keeping everything crossed it ends up on the Quest's Applab - the same please Tea for God is hiding. And love love love the snowbase / Timesplitters 2 style setting. ❤
Digging the environments a lot. That arena level layout reminds me of that one Black Ops 3 campaign mission that I forget the name of, nostalgic. Looking forward to more in-depth stuff with the whole process, especially the gunplay.
Really looking forward to this game. I love seeing your journey too, interesting. The game looks awesome and the music etc too. Hopefully sound will play a big part as I think it’s often overlooked
actually laughed out loud when you revealed the new release date because i thought it was a troll, and then i remembered that it actually *is* a leap year! looking forward to this game dude, have had it wishlisted for ages
Hey Peter, As a full time game developer I just want to say going from a full blown PC title to optimizing it for a standalone Quest 3 release is a lot and I mean a lot of work. Ive been working exclusively for the Quest 2 now and the limitations are a lot. Around 500K triangles can be on screen before any major lag kicks in. For the Quest 3 its a bit more, but just wanted to point it out! Good luck with the development of the game.
seeing early progress soo long ago on Instagram and keeping up with whatever you share about the project has been a great help for motivating my own developments! Cant wait to grind this game💯💯💯💯
Looks great! I'm relieved that you guys moved away from the PS1 style graphics; that era of 3D just never worked for me ;) It looks like you guys've landed on a really cool place for the visuals, so I'm psyched to see it in person!
Noice. You know how rare it is to find well made vr devlogs, especially ones that aren't at least a year old? Love this, hope to see continued progress and updates. What yall have shown so far is impressive! ♥
Seeing this stuff is always amazing. I'm currently in the process of attending a dedicated VXR development course, and seeing what you have managed to achieve so far is honestly motivating. Keep up the amazing work. I can't wait to try it out in early access!
very excited to see where this goes. looks like it has lots of attention to detail so far, which is a big thing I feel like a lot of VR games miss. good luck!
I like to get games on Steam and Quest if I can so I have a choice, but its rare that games sync progression and stats across platforms like that. If you're able to do that that would be amazing but I understand its not the easiest. I'm a'buyin either way.
dude this is insane, i am blown away by how AMAZING this game looks! dude how are you making a game that looks on par with triple A games!? the artstyle is GORGEOUS and the gameplay seems amazing, keep up the good work!
Peter! I've been watching you for years and only found out about your own page now. What the actual heck. Buddy, Skipper, Chief, Sally, Nancy...I can't believe I have all these videos to look forward to. Jumping Geez Buddy. Wow. - Toronto, Canada.
