The Apostolic Vicariate of Northern Arabia, a place of rapid growth addresses the growth of the Catholic Church in the region. Some 2.5 million Catholics now populate a region that 50 years ago had barely a few thousand. Bishop Camillo Ballin will undertake the building of a cathedral, Our Lady of Arabia Cathedral, in Awali, Bahrain with the help of Aid to the Church in Need.
