Thank you. This brought me healing and peace from the loss of my sister Haylee. I was 8 when my mother lost her at 6 months into her pregnancy. My heart still aches for a sister I so very much wanted. But today my heart is grateful to know that there are organizations dedicated to helping this pain. It’s true, the loss of a baby/sibling you never had a chance to know is a different type of loss. May God Bless us and draw our heart closer to him. ❤

I love this image, but I never knew the story of Saint Juan Diego, Our Lady of Guadalupe, and the origin of the Miraculous image on his tilma. Our Lady of Guadalupe is special to me for a couple of reasons. She is the image on my brown scapular, and when I attend Mass at my church I always sit in her side chapel. The founding priest of Saint Adelaide’s 60 years ago, Father McQuade, wanted to name the parish Our Lady of Guadalupe. That’s why we have a beautiful chapel of Our Lady. Cardinal Cushing had already committed the name to Rome. So I’d say it’s been a win-win, as the parish has had 4 fairly recent vocations, including Marian brother Jeff. (That’s incredible, I just learned that a few days ago). Thank you Father Chris and Father Anthony for all the knowledge. May God bless you.

❤ I don’t have a Catholic background so I didn’t know about anything Catholic. When I was just a few weeks pregnant with my son, 5 years ago I went on a trip to Venice with my family. On the returndate home, unexpectedly a heavy snowstorm broke out. And our flight was cancelled for a week. We decided to go to Rome. At Padua station a man from Eritrea entered the train. He came and sat right next to us in an empty cabin. He looked exited to see us. He greeted my then 7 years old daughter and told me children are a blessing, looked so happy at my womb and he would pray for us and ask God to bless us. Then he just left. My daughter said that man was actually an angel. I thought so too. We went to the Vatican my daughter wanted to get blessed water for her then sick Catholic grandmother. We stopped a priest with a pinkish purple garment. My daughter had some water from the Vatican in a container I held it in a plastic bag in front of me. He blessed my womb as he blessed the water I could feel it. At Vatican we were stopped a lot by people and priest who randomly said bless you and that they would pray for us. So sweet and lovely. Then a priest stopped me and he said do you know Guadelupe? I said no as he gave me a gift blessed by the pope a medaillon of Mary. When I looked at it I felt connected to it. And I got insights why I was persecuted so many years already and there was also a connection with encounters I had with meso American “gods” or locust from the pitt I already told you about. When my baby died the hospital kept it…hmmmmm miscarriage caused me to have panic attack it’s been over 20 years

Is our lady of Guadalupe the same our lady of Fatima and of Lourdes? If so why do they have different names? Isn't one our lady enough?
