From the archives: the band got together prior to the release of Spiritual Machines II to discuss the album's creative and the inspiration behind each of the songs. We hope you enjoy! #OurLadyPeace #SpiritualMachinesII #BandCommentary
I found your CD, Clumsy, in the parking lot of my high school almost 25 years ago, all damaged and scratched up. I took it home and listened to it. It inspired me to get into bands over the years and eventually do my own music. I still go out and sing Superman's Dead at karaoke sometimes. I'll have to record it and throw it up on my channel one of these days. Thanks for everything over the years, you guys still rock more than ever!
Thank you for sharing this ❤ I'm a new OLP fan... after seeing Rowan perform Clumsy with his mom... I just had to listen, and learn how this magic came into my life. I must apologize for missing out on the past 25 years....but I feel that perfect timing, has perfect purpose. Now, I need to get this Spiritual Machines book that helped to inspire the genius behind this creation. 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏
Ok. Wish You Well wins as overall fave. Loved it from seeing at shows After playing record 19 Days was tied as fave. . Spiritual Machines was always a favorite album. I actually have some of Oli Goldsmith's art from the album tattooed on my back. This is amazing, thank you so much for making this for us :)
@@oligoldsmith holy shit, it's you! Of all the CDs I owned in the 90s, I never looked up who made the album art or what other art that artist made... except for you. I loved your color palette, the variety of styles you were able to combine into a coherent image, and I loved (and I don't know how to objectively describe this) how it fit the vibe of the album. To me, the album art (also seen on the website, the In Repair music video, and merch) was a vital part of the project. I remember telling my artsy girlfriend a few times "hey you gotta check out the art on this website!" And she didn't, but the point is that your art was that intriguing to me. I even stole some of it and used it in a high school film project.
Really enjoyed this album walk through love the album and also loved the first Spiritual machines album wish you would come to the UK I would come and see you in a heartbeat😀😀😀😀🙏🙏🙏🙏

This is my favorite album from OLP. Sadly, the vinyl master is horrendous. Way over compressed and the soundstage is so narrow that the music is just lifeless. Such a disappointment because the music is great.
