I heard once an older woman say that the one advice she would give to younger women is to always have what she called a "fuck off fund". It means some secret funds/money on the side that would at least keep you going for 3 months in case you have to leave a man in an emergency. It stuck with me.

What you said at the end was so true! Doing all that "my man" stuff and posting him on ig had me so delusional. He did something that made me feel so embarrassed in front of his friends! I felt so good when I finally had the strength to leave! Thank you for another great episode 💜
