I agree with the comment below. Nigerian celebrities are in the best position to take over leadership because they have tens of millions of followers on social media. The present Ukrainian President, the past Brazilian president, and past Californian U.S governor (Arnold Schwarzenegger) , all used their social media popularity to win elections. Many Nigerian celebrities have more followers than most registered voters in most states of the federation. President Buhari won 2019 elections with only 15.3 million votes, while Governor of Lagos state, Sanwo olu won 2019 governorship elections with meagre 740k votes, despite INEC announcing that Lagos state registered over 3.5 million voters, while Nigeria registered 84million voters. This easily tells us that there are millions of voters (over 50%) who aren't voting because of voter apathy. With the right coalition of entertainers , coming together to form a political force , they can sway these voters to their side
In my deepest thoughts I have no problems with Sowore but should we brush aside the issue of what brought us together as nigerians in the first place, the agreement which lapsed on the 31 December 2013? I will support Sowore on these conditions: 1. that whether he rules for 8years or 16years by which time I am convinced that the economic growth of 'expired-nigeria' would have turned around for better - GOD ALMIGHTY willing, can he stop this clueless and very tribalistic, power-hungry, power-drunk and blood-shedding fulanis from coming back to power whose main aim is just to loot and destroy the economic structures and achievements? 2. Can Sowore radically change the current security structures (army, air-force, navy, police, dss and efcc) without the north feeling threatened? 3. As the situation worsens by the day with every bill passed at the national assembly to favour the fulanis at the expense of other stakeholders, does he think he can gather enough support to reverse the recent dangerous bill that brings the local governments under the federal government (indirectly enforcing ruga, cattle-colony, etc) back under the states' and get a huge support from the north which true interest is to dominate the 'expired-nigerian' space? The callous 'I don't care attitude' that we are presently witnessing from the fulanis had been in the pipeline for decades and this is why they are ruthlessly pursuing these in this buhari-fulani-led bloodied regime. As we know that a leopard cannot change its spots, they can mellow for another 8years to resurface again with more damning plans against other stakeholders in 'expired-nigeria', hence, my full support goes to seeing the emergence of Yoruba Nation, Biafra, Kwararafa (who are very slow in registering their interests), Kanuri and indeed Kaaro-Ojire kingdom IJCMN.
