Loved the Flint movies. Great scene from In Like Flint. Flint pulls up to his LearJet. Asks mechanic if he emptied the ashtrays. The mechanic says, “I did even better. I got you a new plane”. The mechanic was William Powell Lear, Jr. And you can guess what he designed. Lear was an incredible genius. And I love that scene.
Always loved the Flint films and watched them repeatadly since I was a kid. I remember 1st watching the opening of the Lee Majors show The Fall Guy, seeing that high jump and knowing exactly where it came from. Thanks for the retrospective.

Just looked and apparently Buzz Henry died in a motor cycle incident when he was 40. Dar Robinson , another top stunt fella died in a similar off the cuff motorcycle incident. Thought he might be in Shamus, he was a big mate of Burt. but no. Always liked James Coburn, he had a bit of style about him.
