Thoroughly enjoyed that! Your video editing skills are awesome. You both have a wonderful spirit, and I am enjoying adventuring with you! I was in Oaxaca once in 1977, and went up into the hills. A small village called Mitla, I think. I bought a rug there, of the god of rain, and gave it to my parents, who lived in a farming community. We also visited the old Mayan ruins at Monte Alban. Oaxaca is awesome! Not sure vegan was a thing back in 1977!

That sounds absolutely incredible - I can’t imagine what travelling Mexico in the 70’s was like. I’m sure it was completely different in such an amazing way. Sometimes we find travelling to easy now 😂 everything can be booked online and places are more easily accessible (which are both good and bad things in our opinion). I don’t think veganism was such a thing haha. We didn’t get to go to Monte Alban because when we were close it was closed for Dia del Muertos but I’m sure it’s incredible. Great footage, the drone shots and time lapse are very cinematic. San Jose is high on our list for places to visit in Mexico. Everything y'all did from the hiking, sauna, yoga, and hanging out by the fire felt like nice way to relax and disconnect from everything. We hope to make it out there someday. Looking forward to you Puerto Escondido videos.

What an amazing beginning. Super high quality. I love the place y'all are staying at. It's such a great looking spot and the surrounding area looks amazing. I'm not a vegan by any means but I would do a weekend cleanse there. Food looks amazing. Yoga for life. Fall asleep by the fire. What a treat.

It was such a special and beautiful place 😌 Hahaha don’t hate me! It’s a super bad habit that I’ve fallen into but now I can’t break it 😂 I do start to get hungry around 10-11am so I have an early lunch or a snack. Ohh the hour and a half was a bit too intense for beginners but nothing like throwing yourself fully into something hahah!

It was our dream spot too! We could have stayed there for weeks just soaking it all in. And it really was amongst the clouds ☁️ It was FREEZING at night but super hot during the day. This area is actually really famous for a spiritual sauna called a temezcal! Thank you so much for your nice words!! 🙌🏼

All right I admittedly haven't watched much of y'alls content yet but that was an epic video! Fantastic Job! I thoroughly enjoyed that. You make it look truly exotic and like something out of a fantasy novel... of which I am a fan! You guys are hilarious! Azkaban/Alcatraz.... I guess they're both prisons right!? That cracked me up because I got the misspeak before Tom pointed it out. I would do fine chilling in the sauna but would fail at the yoga for sure! We went to a place up in the mountains of Jamaica where they sourced most things off of the surrounding land. That is so foreign to our modern life but SO cool! Great stuff and I can't wait to see the next adventure!!

That sounds so awesome! I wish there was more of that lifestyle where we come from, it’s amazing how much more these people appreciate the earth and all it gives to us. Wow...very nice location merged with the nature . Nice "Alcatraz" cabana made by old natural materials and seem to be a quite big. I love meditation and usually I practice daily and happy to see that facility there to relax and calm your mind (all depends on the vibrating thoughts what you have in your subconscious mind...ha..ha...it is a separate subject)...and surprise to see the meditation practices in Mexico...wow what a magical tree it is, well matched to the location. Seem to be you had a different experience this time. I love that place and we have many this kind of locations in Sri Lanka. I'm sure that one day you will visit Sri Lanka as well. It was an amazing place - extremely merged with nature. The cabin was huge - I think the high ceilings made it look even bigger! We definitely need to practice meditation more, we’re both a little fidgety but I think I full calm my mind when I’m doing something like cleaning or bush walking. There seems to be a big yoga/meditation scene in Mexico which was surprising to us as well! I thought there would be many places like that in Sri Lanka - you guys are far more in touch with your spiritual side which I love! We will definitely visit Sri Lanka one day!! What a neat place to rest and relax. Ouch for the laptop. Hopefully the old emergency laptop will last until your gets fixed or replaced. We were just traveling to St. Louis and had a tech issue with the GoPro, the sd card got a error and had 2 days of footage on it. Trying to see if can get recovery on it. Hope your data was not all on the laptop. Travel safe you guys.

@@EmilyandTom I'm going through the recovery of the sd card. That has been an interesting experience. Glad I'm a electrical engineer and understand computer things. Unfortunately sounds like a common experience with GoPros. So far got half the video footage back. Thinking of making a video on this little experience. You two keep safe down there.

Hahahah thank you! I spent most of my childhood up a tree, so it´s nice to hear that I´ve still got it. We´re meat eaters as well (when travelling) but the vegan food was SO tasty - maybe it would change his mind 😂
