Those automobile mechanics were really thorough and even found a couple more discrepancies with their vehicle. And they were honest about the repairs too. You don't see that with most auto repair shops nowadays.
i started watching your old videos a couple of weeks ago and finally caught up on this new upload, the scenery and tradition of japan always amaze me, and the politeness and hospitality of every japanese person included on your vids, always entertaining content, love you both❤️❤️
I lived in Kobe for all of the 80's and now live in Hawaii with my Japanese wife. We love your channel. I didn't have a car but my friends told me about the shaken nightmares. You were calm and enjoyed your experience. How wonderful and different from what I would have felt
I watched other van life videos with extravagant features and it feels like yours is preferred since it can be done by a simple person like us. Very inspiring.. i love the simplocoty
I’m so glad your little home is all repaired and happy again❗️Such lovely mechanics. They were kind, fun and seemed thorough. It’s vital help for you obviously. I’m in love with Japanese culture. Everyone is so kind and respectful. I truly want to visit 🇯🇵 I especially want to spend time in nature. Sending love from Australia 🤎🦘
Beautiful video as always! In the U.S., I typically do not trust a random mechanic unless I was referred to them by a friend. I am so happy that you found a business that saw your safety as their main priority. Safe travels!
It's great that your car pass the safety inspection to ensure the safety on the road. Afterward, you can continue your safe journey again. Blessings from Taiwan!
Amazing that around most parts of the world people freak out and get stressed to no end when something is wrong with the car. It is great to see that it can be handled like this too. The folk at the service and inspection are really kind and professional. They took good care of your roaming home. Safe travels to you both and cheers from Hungary! :)
家族全員がウクライナのキーウからあなたを見守っています。 あなたはとてもいい人です! 皆様のご多幸とご多幸をお祈り申し上げます。 ビデオありがとうございます! The whole family is watching you from Kyiv, Ukraine. You are very nice guys! We wish you many smiles and good luck in all your travels! Thank you for the video!
It’s really good car owners can work together in repairing there cars in Japan, our system doesn’t allow us to loiter around the repair area for safety reason. You folks are always friendly and seems happy as always.
Okay, that is just something these shop tell you so you get lost and they can work without you watching everything. Whether that leads to the shop being dishonest about the amount of work they actually did is another question - there are some documentations about many shops overcharging for many basic tasks. Anyway, the shop could just ask you to sign a waiver if safety was really the issue. Here in Germany it's also not uncommon to just watch the whole repair process, particularly when it's about standard parts like oil change, brake pads/discs and tires.
Замечательные ребята! Отлично обустроенный кемпер! Пусть у Вас будут только легкие дороги и незабываемые моменты в пути, и только приятные впечатления!
It is difficult to find a good and honest garage here in Belgium or Europe, most of them take advantage of the car owners and are not honest about certain things. Japanese people are very correct in business and customer service. Arigatou gozaimashita!🙇♂😊
Same here in Norway, but I do find small rural mechanics with tow truck's are quiet honest, and they will try to fix that/those parts of your car, before considering to replace it, to save you some money. for example my big sister car, her exhaust fall off, due to rust at a weld, he just fixed and strengthened it, so it should hold until next inspection.
I've just started watching your watching your video's from Canada and I'm so impressed at how well that company treated you and the level of work that was done. I'm so happy they were able to help you. What was most interesting is that you were permitted to help with the work as that would never have been allowed here. I also like how you had to go for safety inspections, as they don't have them here either. It would be nice if they did, keep more unsafe vehicles off the road.
They literally replaced all potential problematic parts, it seems nice but not nice on pocket. Canada is know for truckers and road travelers, Japan is hell for private vehicle owners. It is never nice if all these things came anywhere other than Japan.
Luckily the car was repaired 😃👍 Very nice service staff, I have never met such polite service. And certainly the client would not be allowed to hang around the workshop 😆 👍
I am amazed that they allowed you such access to the review and repair process! Never happen here in the US. glad everything worked out and she is back on the road!
Glad to catch this episode of both maintaining your home this week. Please do regular inspection for the van as both travel on the road always. Take care of your safety and thank you for sharing.
Never knew how youtubers will be so happy when their car broke down. When my car broke down, I cried me almost a gallon of engine oil. Keep going guys. your channel just caught in the youtube's recommended algorithm. Keep going in this pace you will get 1,000,000 subsciber before end of 2022. cheers from TH
Happy to see the campervan is healthy again, she is 100% fit for adventures ahead 😍 Have a safe travel ❤ P.s. I support both of you dearly Hayato-san & Akane-chan 😁
That was crazy. If you had gotten all that done in the US that would've costed you thousands of dollars... just replacing a catalytic converter (depending on the car) I was priced about $2000. After a car gets serviced there is no requirement for inspections. Most mechanics in the US are dishonest and charge wayyy more than they should for labor. Im jealous that you guys had such great mechanics. But wow that was a lot of work on the car.
@@Terminxman that shows what you really know.. I spoke the truth because that's what I was priced and expected to pay. No one said it was "average". Can you read? You can't operate without a catalytic converter if you want to pass an emissions test.. and you act like it would cost nothing to find a mechanic to remove and/or tear open the metal (so hire a welder).. for all that you could've bought an off market one and got it replaced. You are the one full of shit.
In my opinion, there is no point in comparing repair costs in different countries. Also in Germany the costs of this general overhaul would probably have exceeded the value of the vehicle. Labor costs are regularly the largest item on the bill for any normal inspection. On the other hand, car mechanics also have to make a living from their work and be able to feed their families, so it is important that they receive the standard wage for this. In addition, the workshops in Germany must grant a guarantee for the work carried out.
@@Volker_GR normally they should charge between 80 and 120 €per hour for labor and x percent on top for the parts. They would be fair. But in reality its the wild wild west
Here in Britain a vehicle M.O.T is strict also, it's a good thing as you don't want to drive what we call a 'Death Trap'. Super video and friendly staff, thanks.
i have watched your videos and enjoyed it very much life is very interesting Thank you and wish you health always keep the joy to release better videos and get to know more from vietnam
