The struggle of watching all of the podcasts (unfiltered , hoot and a half and good influences) is I always know every story 😂 sometimes when Matt goes on other channels I already heard wat he talks about too lol (still love him tho and will listen every time)
Carly thinking mother Teresa and mother Mary are the same is one of the funniest moments!!!! Also the story of Mike giving an opened Hersey bar to a girl on Valentine’s Day lmao
You guys should do some random competitions like Mike and Carly guess celebrity faces, or Matt and mike have to guess movies based on gross earnings on release, or random 2v2 trivia. It would also be fun to see unexpected pairings like Carly and Matt vs Erin and Mike.
you guys should do a segment where u film your car rides to film the podcast since u drive together n upload it on this yt channel or on ur patreon i think it would be fun and entertaining
Carly saying her first date was at Romeos Italian Restaurant and everyones reactions was SO FUNNY and then Matt and Mikes stories in the travel episode. Matt not being able to find Mike and feeling like Jodie Foster in Flight Plan and Mikes stellar impression of Matt “WHERE WERE YOU”. And Matts story of the pilot forgetting his license “KA-GUNK”. Their my fav bits!
Funny moments that have stood out for me so far… when mike told his story about meeting lady gaga and how she performed a dance routine for him, Carly talking about her Radio obsession and her not knowing who Mother Teresa was, Erins story about peeing in a spray tan booth reminded me of an episode from friends and matts story about him not brushing his teeth before the gym and how they all reacted was hilarious. there’s definitely more but some of these are top tier for me 😅

that's the thing about language, its a dynamic system not a static one. Literally now literally means literally and figuratively, ain't *is* a word, and in my entirely too many years I've never heard anyone say 'all of a sudden' in the American Midwest, it's always been 'the'. The idea of 'proper' English is a classist idea of the 18th century
@@jasonhunter2819 okay, i can agree that language is forever changing, but i don't agree that a simple grammar correction meaningfully perpetuates classism. it’s a silly little video and i’m leaving a silly little comment. now if i was trying to undermine someone for a lack of education because of their social economic status i can see that as classist.

Stop I’ve been trying to remember the name tuck everlasting for yearss because I remember reading it when I was in elementary school and all I could recall was that there was a pond of youth or something and a heart wrenching love story and then we watched the movie after we read the book and wow. Thank u Matt for randomly bringing it up. I kept getting it confused for Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn

Carly’s buttcrack story reminded me of the time I was enrolling my daughter in preschool. I went in to do paperwork and I was wearing a new pair of jeans. I was feeling myself, they were the perfect fit. As I’m leaving to go down the hall in the elementary school her teacher is running after me. I think I forgot something but she tells me there’s a rip in my jeans and that you can see my butt. I’m thinking okay it can’t be that bad but no. This was no small tear. One side completely unattached from the seam so there was literally a tear from the top of my crack to the bottom. And to make it worse I was wearing a thong! 💀 I wanted to die.

I know I've been embarrassed a million times but I just...don't remember that kind of thing for the most part in spite of generally having a really good memory. Its just the couple of really big traumas like a group of girls laughing at me at recess when I was in kindergarten because I told one of the girls I liked her...like wtf, scars! That and losing control of my car on a patch of sand that was on an on ramp leaving work and plowing it into the concrete barrier. Cracked a few ribs and my sunglasses scratched my face up when the airbag hit me in the face but mostly I was just soooooooooo embarrassed to be the dumb ass who wrecked their car while rush hour traffic was all getting on the highway waiting for a tow truck to come scrape the car up and my dad to pick me up and take me home. But all the incidental ones that I *know* horrified me at the time just turned into background noise in my brain, lucky for me. Also, whatever my brain chemistry is...it is not built to remember names. It is a nightmare for me to try and remember a name unless I have something in my head to attach it to and even then...I've forgotten my own brother's name a couple of times. Like I'll go to say his name and it's just a blank space. I had every other memory and my mental image of him and everything but his NAME specifically was just like...file missing for a minute.
I get that your all having fun chatting, but I'm 12 minutes in and you haven't told one embarrassing story. ( just saying you might want to keep it on them a little more)
