i think its safe to say that aftermarket cages should be required for short course and long jump next year. i thought i just watched a dude die.... so wild! glad hes okay!
We were there and we all thought he died too, they had 2 fire trucks there and the ambulance along with a few cop cars. It took a good 30 min to an hour to get ‘em out.
To be honest wasn’t that bad thing held up better than what a stock canam would do. And if you just bump up and get a turbo r or pro r those cages are pretty sturdy. My uncle flipped his turbo r and rolled it multiple times offa cliff at sand mountain. Cars shocks were blown out but cage looks brand new other than some scratches. Those pro xps tho there cages sketch me out it just looks smaller
I tuned mine from 120 to 195HP from Aftermarket Assasin's, worth every penny. I am in the process of dialing my suspension, wondering what that DS did to the suspension to be able to send her this big ! @@charlescorwin881
It's not a race to be the first. I've seen guys like that cause more issues and even get themselves seriously hurt by trying to be the first. 2 or 3 seconds to let things settle, or let the other cars pass or grab a fire extinguisher or whatever is not time wasted.
@@ozguy2759 cool story. Doesn't change the fact that 95% of people will stand by and watch someone burn to death. Frank isn't in that group. Gtfo with your "gotta wait make sure their spine is set etc" I'm not talking paramedics.
Thank you guys for what you do and how nice you all are in person, being cool and taking time for pictures, came all the way from SW Missouri and did not disappoint!
You guys should help out the dude that wrecked the blue rig! That thing got mangled so bad and it would be cool to see a rebuild of something that smashed if it's doable
Another one in the books. Awesome job with hosting the event all, Thanks Silverback offroad, and a shoutout to Nick Leonard for the extra time to edit probably 10 hours worth of footage down into 50 Jam packs mins. This was a great watch after a hard days work.
Sweet event! Glad to hear that person is okay and hope for a fast recovery and hopefully he can rebuild or get a new unit to get back out. Rest up and ride on
Man I still don’t understand why these guys don’t have over a million subscribers, I mean when you compare to like B Price, these guys do way way more stuff and give out freaking amazing gifts, and B price does cops and robbers on mini dirt bikes over and over in his parents yard, doesn’t makes sense…. Not hating on B Price, just a good comparison lol
Franke j definitely is a great safety crew guy did you see how fast he took off when the guy flipped in the long jump... when the safety guy is almost to the Machine before the machine had even stopped rolling...good job...Bob...
Stock Cages are designed to cave in SOME. They “absorb” energy that way. That said, it sure looked a bit excessive for that type off roll. It’s a common misconception that a “good” cage is one that doesn’t need to be repaired or replaced after a roll. Just like cars and crumple zones, there should be some give.
I was just happy I got to finally make it out to an event. Fun time for sure. Thank you guys for throwing such an awesome event. Will be there next year for sure.
Racetober has come a long way from tearing up Doug's parents' back yard! Well done boys. Sending prayers for the guy in the bad crash. Thats what happens when you send it.
Good job to the whole SXS crew for a great event, The racers were great all of them and glad that those 2 crashes were not worse. I've never been to any of theses events look's like a blast and I don not have a SXS or anything in that nature. Great job also for cutting out that 2nd crash. Thanks again for the SXS crew for the video cant wait to see what yous will do next.
Just wanted to say thankyou to SXSBLOG for all the greatness and suport that you give us i guess it goes both ways lol and i hope that everyone who sees this had a great or good thanks giving with their family
I’ve been waiting for this I seen someone else post up about the event and I saved there video to watch after this woo 🤘 you guys rock never quit doing what you do
First time event will definitely be back for it next year!!! Also it was fun to run into guys out on the dunes we enjoyed watching you practice your jumping skills👍
Maybe do a video somehow with a couple old blown up rzrs. Good cage on one. Stock on the other. Drop from like 5 then 10 feet on up. Im sure any cage company would donate one for that kinda thing. Cause absolutely no one talks about how fast and amazing but yet still as unsafe as can be with those garbage stock cages
Gotta say, that is one thing I didn't worry about with my Wildcat XX.... They build REAL cages stock!!! Can't believe Polaris and Can-Am charge all that money for their rigs and put tinfoil cages on the damn things!!! I've literally seen a Wildcat XX roll 8 times end over end down a huge hill and the only thing it did was scratch the cage!!! Real Steel Boys!!
@@corolla0500 highly Doubt that. Those don’t come with the 3.0 fox shocks like the xrs models which are miles better. But it does appear to have silver springs which means they’re either shock therapy, MTS or Eibach
I, for one, enjoyed hearing everyone yell and scream with excitement while watching such an awesome event! Looks like a lot of fun, much love from Texas!
That jump is sick!!! Might have started the down side about 5' sooner and it wouldn't be kicking them so hard... The guys clearing it were landing nice and soft. Short on top looked like a back breaker!!! Awesome Job!!!
