It's a great truck! I'd prefer to keep full use of the bed. Do some research on the "truck arm" suspension that's already on that thing. It's been used by NASCAR since the '60s!
I’m 41 and you guys gave me a 🤯 moment. Putting the oil dry down first is genius. That could’ve have saved me a lot work over the years. Be proactive with the inevitable and make cleanup easier.👍

I have one of those. I think it was 1972. It had a three on the tree you could do a burnout for a mile it seem like. It was one of the funniest trucks I've ever owned.
Definitely turbos in the bed like Canto from texas , cut outs in the bed cover, and exhaust out the back. Would be badass. Tommy my boy you got the right idea for that build.
I might need to own that c10 so I can gift it to my grandpa he loves drag racing and because he lost his car in a garage fire 4 or 3 years ago that would be a perfect replacement

I would imagine that would reduce the anti squat percentage!Lol I imagine that engine that's in it would also reduce anti squat, seeing as how it couldn't extend or compress the suspension with all of the 60hp applied at one time! Lol
Custom Sport Truck, actually. But I like Cheyenne Super Turbo better. You won't have to do anything to make the rear suspension work. The trailing arm trucks work great at the track. I say Big Block with the new bigger Torqstorm and blow through. Torqstorm might even want to get involved with the project. Cheyenne Super Torqstorm!
My name is GRUBBY. Every time I see your S-10, it reminds me of mine and then I start to get upset. It was a 91' Short bed. I back-halfed it with a semi narrowed Ford 9", 4.8l with 317 heads that I did all the machining to them, 105mm throttle body Assault Racing intake, Twin 70's, a Lenco tranny and some extra goodies. Then it got stolen from me when I got stupid and ended up getting incarcerated 3 months. When I oout, I asked the "SO-CALLED" family friend if he had it at his shop and he said no haven't seen it since he was with me. Well, last year I found it on marketplace for sale and it was the so-called family friend's house and THEY FUCKIN DESTROYED MY BABY. I miss it so much it makes me sick that I believed him and 2 years later I got the truth. Dude, it was so fuckin destroyed, when I got it back I told my buddy take it to the scrap yard. I wanna build another but Idk. Maybe if I get the bug again I will. Btw, Andy Jensen is a friend of mine and he gave me some insight and Well, 1767rwhp. 4.8ljunkyard budget build. I miss it. 😢

The factory truck arm suspension hooks pretty good actually. It's like a long ladder bar. Maybe use some pinion ahimsa to set pinion angle but there is a guy on the old 67-82 truck forum that was running 8s with that set up. QA1 also sells a updated kit that has adjustable pinion angle links.
I think you should name the truck (Old School) and put a big block in it with a 871 supercharger you all haven't done anything like that. That would be simple carbureted and probably a thousand horsepower easy on pump gas
Twin turbo 400 SBC with a blow through carb, would be insane if you did either a sequential trans or a bruno-lenco, but if neither of those maybe a 3spd with a gear vender, and if your going to make power its going to need a 4 link and a tin soldier's built rear...

Turbos under the hood please, you can hide them and do a bottom mount setup but please don't put them in the bed. it ruins the bed and makes the truck usless as a truck...
