I love the house! It’s so pretty and is the perfect size for two people and will continue to be the perfect size as you grow your family! I feel like pictures on the walls going up the stairs or a mirror in the middle wall would look really good. Also, matte black hardware in the kitchen would tie in any black you want and also look great on the white cabinets and drawers. The same style of hardware as well gives it a modern look for sure!

First of all, WELCOME HOME! Secondly, as a couple who also moved from a one bedroom one bathroom apartment to a 3 bedroom townhome, bathrooms are such a blessing lol. Thirdly design suggestions for the half bath, you could totally put a nice large platter on that shelf with black pebbles, a scented candle. In the cabinet below, plenty of extra toilet paper but make sure to have poopy spray! As a guest having to use someone else’s potty is embarrassing if they have to go poop. For the kitchen handles, yes, you always want to have all handles to make throughout the house and the black looks so nice in a white kitchen. Another suggestion would be to put some black kitchen bar stools for that beautiful Long Island and a nice dark wood table with black medal legs would be a great statement piece to tie it all together. Love watching y’all’s channel! I’m living vicariously through you both! Enjoy, from Texas!

It's beautiful! Can't wait to see what you do with the place. One word of advice... Don't do too much black furniture/decor. It will make the space look too cold. The warmth in the wood floors and carpet helps warm the look of the space even now, and I suggest keeping that in mind when selecting furnishings. Stay blessed!

SO excited for you guys!!! Can’t can’t can’t wait to see how decorating comes together! What iffff on your large wall above stairs, you created a “collage” of sorts of different sized and maybe colors framed photos of family, friends, and you two? Or showing the journey from when you first met to current? A wall you can either keep adding to or updating?? Aside from different sized frames, maybe different frame colors but having colors stay in theme you want for house. So maybe different woods, ranging from white to light brown to light grey brown to medium browns, dark browns, maybe black wood grain to tie in the kitchen colors? Whatever you decide to do, totally can’t WAIT to see furnished home tour in a month or so 😊🙌🙌 CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

Congratulations Scott Fam!!!! What a beautiful home and welcome to OC! Can’t wait to watch you guys grow in the years to come. Stair design advice, I think a photo accent wall would be a really neat and personal touch. You could do an accent wall color and photos or just the photos. I come from a family of interior designers and my grandma always told me “only put a mirror in a place you love the reflection” so if you love the view when a mirror is placed there, a mirror could also work!!! The black kitchen accents are a win! We have an all white kitchen with wood and black accents. We love it, as do our guests assuming they aren’t just being kind haha. Congratulations again you guys, really beautiful home and so excited for this next chapter for you guys!

Congrats!! A Cali native here. You cannot beat the weather and the food options! I agree black accents would look nice and a good contrast with the white house and kitchen. I was thinking black cabinet pulls, a black faucet (like yours but black) and a cream/beige couch, black and wood coffee table. Wood warms up everything so it's nice and cozy. 😊 Can't wait to see how you decorate everything.

Wow what a nice space! Design ideas: - abstract painting on stair wall for colour - change kitchen handles to black + black bar stools - glass dining table - dark grey L couch - black marble coffee table - Black console table under tv - mirrored wall in mud room I like dark tones but if you like light tones then I would do light grey couch, leave silver handles in kitchen w/ white bar stools + silver console to match handles. Looove the black idea!! Also I’d put a mirror because then you can kind of see to the downstairs from the upstairs! I love this new house for you guys! You totally deserve all of it!!
