Public service announcement: don't put the key on the charging pad! Despite being told to do this by the dealer, it's apparently *a very bad idea*! (The car could stop while you're driving). I've told my dealer...

MY wife had two of these things. Both pulled to the side and both bounced around the road. The first car had to be changed due to ankle pull and pain due to the positioning of the pedals. Boot space barely able to take a couple of bags of shopping. Now my car is an 04 plate Toyota Corolla sticks to the road, reliable, comfortable and goes like a dream. In fact whenever we went any distance my wife jumped for my car everytime. Fiat 500 nil points as the French say!

Looks a very well made car. Full marks for the camera work from Flaviana at the beginning. Hope you all enjoy the car, looking forward to subsequent videos on range etc.

We bought a 500 La Prima in June as a second car to replace a 6 year old Fiesta. Love the car but we've had terrible software problems giving all sorts of spurious alarms and reducing the charging rate etc.etc. One of the worst faults was the inability of the camera to properly read speed signs and would randomly suggest a speed limit of 45 mph on the motorway! This is apparent on your video where it is showing the speed limit as 24mph! The local dealer has done 13 software upgrades and now the car is 98% in that respect. It has always driven well and does between 4 and 5 miles per kilowatt hour. Just ordered an AWD Ultimate Ioniq 5 to replace a two year old 3 litre Audi Q7 which is a heap of s**te and has broken down twice with less than 10000 miles on the clock. Delivery due in December - can't wait!

We had a fiat 500…the basic model with 1.2l engine and about ⅓ the price! Loved it! Look forward to when the prices of EVs get closer to that price.

Looks like a really good second car or a car for a couple. Can’t see me getting my 18 month old, his pram and a suitcase in it, but it’s not designed for that. It’s a beautiful looking car.

like the colour i thought it was blue till you said what it was -- do you like the grille? surprised the sunroof doesnt open - like the arrangement for the gear selector - enjoy - and as i type this you mention about the colour haha

Generally infotainment looks nice. But need volume on the steering wheel, don’t like the piano switches. The seats look quite textured, are they soft and comfortable?

As a 500e La Prima owner maybe you could shed some light on these two points as our local dealer and the Fiat website are giving conflicting info. Does it come as standard with the Fiat Co Driver pack (L2) and the Winter pack (Heated seats) Thanks

Looks lovely, good colour choice, things I noticed - boot is small, do the rear seat backs move to an upright position to give a more usable boot space ? Mode button looks annoying and really surprised no vanity mirror in drivers sun visor -well spotted Mrs EV, it does look good, will be interested in efficiency over your long journey , thanks for the review

A german RU-vidr did a 1000 Kilometer-Challenge in this car and it performed quite well. The Channel is Andreas Haehnel!

If the "charger" you can install yourself runs off a three pin plug then that too is just a granny charger.

Had my soft top for a couple of weeks. Will be interesting if you have the same niggles with the infotainment system. ..Can you please mention if you are able to have more than one driver profile.. Now my complaint with a lot of ev systems.. Everyone switches to car play to use the maps apps..Why ? This is a premium product that can get live data on your driving and battery status yet the route planning on the car is basic to say the best.

Don't like this colour. Having seen the interior, ergonomics for driving, I'm reassured that Honda got it right. And there is more room inside my #Hondae

Not sure if any of the commenters realise but it is very difficult to fit the interior space of a transit van into a supermini

Got to say it is a lovely car, but only for a couple max, not a family. I still can’t fathom why you chose such a small car 🤷🏽 Please film yourself getting the childseat in and out the back! 😂 Regarding ergonomics, I wonder why they didn’t put the ‘gear selector’ buttons where the volume control is and visa versa? Would have made more sense in my opinion. Visibility does look limited it the front, maybe just the perspective from camera.

42kwh in such a small car wow, Tell me if has more than 100mile range? that is going to be interesting! I have to say £30k is a neck of a lot for cute.

The public has a right to know : why the 500 and not the e ? It can't be for the interior space and the practicality. The e has 4 doors, more space in the back and the booths are similar in their absence of space. It can't be for the reliability. Hope you get along fine with your local Fiat service provider, you'll be seeing him quite often. It can't be the ability to go full speed on the Autobahn. Even if the e has no range pretension to do so, it will be much more stable, comfortable and secure on the motorway. The tech ? Sorry, bad taste joke. The styling ? Well it's a matter of taste, but the Japanese interpretation of the Scandinavian lounge philosophy is refreshingly different from the classic Italian leather-imitation. So, what other argument is there...THE RAAAAAAAAANGE ? That must be it, because this is going to be your family long distance transport, isn't it? Or, much more simply, your cunning plan is to pretend this was going to be the main family car, knowing how purpose-unfitting it would be, and then wait for the Ioniq 5/EV 6 ?

That boot looks very small, and people moan about the Honda e boot. Also the rear seats only seem ok for children.

All small EVs Rock hard suspension...thrown all over, test drive on bad roads before u get stuck with one for 3 years.. this guy is clueless about cars.. another U tube dreamer" EVs eat power at 70mph..Range goes down fast%, brakes lock up, if u brake on metal road grids, especially in rain. Slide. Very unnerving" they will all improve by mid decade. I would wait till then. Had 2 test drove a few.. there not there yet" Avoid. Hybrids mid size and up. Best all round cars for right now. Prius best all round car.. look no further. Second hand mk 4. Superb value 👌 low miles etc. This car is on 98% and has lost 40miles already... the devil is in the detail... questions.. loads pal .. stick to computer game reviews or somet ?? Sherpa mode makes u and passengers sea sick. Pulls on your stomach when u take off accelerator.. u wont use this feature for long. Gives tiny amount of power back in battery. Gimmick modes.

Tbh you couldn’t even fit your shopping in that boot so fails as a city car.
