We recorded this video a couple of weeks ago. We’re now fully open and it’s been great meeting some of our customers in person. Our makers boxes are also available on our website and we’ll be adding more in due time. Thanks for everyone’s support!

I had the great pleasure of visiting Country Cow shop during my holiday to Cornwall. Our visit was on the 30 Sept 24. Was amazing to meet the team and definitely spend some lots of pennies. I do wish we were closer. Loved it and a lovely little shop. ❤❤❤🥰🥰🥰🥰

This is such a beautiful store - congratulations! So many goodies and great idea to reuse boxes! Unfortunately Canada isn't just around the corner to come and shop in person, but love online shopping. FYI - I purchased for $50 at a garage sale, a vintage Kenmore 158.19471 (from the early '70's, made in Japan and possibly by Janome), and it sews amazingly through all my bag making bulky seams way better than my Juki TL18 QVP semi-industrial straight stitch machine ever could - I have sold the Juki.

countrycowdesigns.com/product/double-sided-self-adhesive-sticky-tape-152 These are the ones we use. They seem to have a good balance of being sticky but not too bad for the needle. I also recommend using a microtex needle as it has a special coating to stop glue sticking to it

I so wish that you had been open when I was in Cornwall in March. I would have love to have stopped by. I'm also so very happy to hear that your twin, Jo, is named Debbie. Here in America, I haven't heard the name "Debbie" used for a younger person in years. I'm 62 and all the Debbie's I know are my age and older. Congratulations on you new shop. Congratulations to you both. I love the shop. That paint color is my favorite. I wish I could come and browse but I am in the US. That little gift bag tote is a great idea. Question. Do you ship to the US? Those bag kits look intriguing. I do love the lives you did but I understand the stress that comes along. Maybe pre recorded as premieres? That way you can still interact and chatters can ask questions, as needed in a sew-along. Anyway, been a fan from day one. Wishing you all the best. 👍👍👍

Oh how I wish I was closer to you guys! I hope that I manage the trip one day. It looks amazing, wish you all the best to you all! For live sew alongs, I am always up for them. I know it can be stressful, but it doesn't have to be, We are all human, and we all understand when things go wrong. If you get convinced Jo, we will be there to help and support however we can. Love the shop and so jealous of people who can visit (I’m in New Zealand 😢). I’d love to see live videos as well as edited ones. They give a personal touch and some sense of reality.

Exciting! For scissors, try if you can KAI brand--amazing quality you & customers will live to use! (Though Olfa still better for rotary blades--years of leather work & garment sewing). I like your hardware display/drawers. Be sure to fix the pieces well since folks will pull on the item like it's a drawer pull & pops off! (Have seen this in some shops & even guilty myself of thinking a display was functional 😂). Ohhh, a Juki? I have a big industrial, but last fall added a Juki TL18QVP for lighter work (and garments, though still have 5 others... But Juki is great. And great to have the hand presses! Hint: color code the dies by size! I used tape)sharpies, and makes it so easy to get which I need (also color coding my rivet bins helps with matching them up to the die!)
