I just came back from umrah n you know what? Hajis were queuing for McDonald’s, KFC, Starbucks, Hardees, Carr four shopping - no holds bar. Nobody was asking them to boycott. Palestine was not even mentioned in any dua or khutbah. It’s happening in Makkah, Madinah guys. Is something wrong with us or with them?

Fr. I understand ppl boycotting major brands like Starbucks McDonald’s etc but people that pin point literally every single company even when you’re grocery shopping they’ll tell you this company has 0.005% connection to Israel like ok what? What do you want me to do?? Dig deep into every single company’s history and connections and owners in the grocery store before buying anything? That’s ridiculous. I feel like the more people tell others to boycott like 100s of brands the more easily ppl get fed up and boycotts doesn’t work. People should boycott what they can. Even in 2021 when Palestine was being bombed a lot, all these people swore to boycott these brands but then after a couple months went back to normal.

Unity is our strength- imagine you and your family are suffering what Palestinians are- how would you feel about someone sitting safe and comfortable feeling so privileged they can’t stop using certain brand which help finance a genocide? It’s really that simple. I’ve literally boycotted all the brands and use very generic simple products. We won’t die if we boycott- but Palestinians are dying if we don’t boycott.
