Our Off Grid Food Storage Journey 

I took some clips of our food storage while I was rotating food stuffs in the totes cooler and freezer and sat down to talk about our “food storage journey” at the Oasis Farm Homestead.
Keeping food fresh is pivotal to the homestead experience. Whether in a tent and cabin or a full homestead set up, learning how to preserve and store food can be quite an expensive thing to not know how to do. I don’t get deep into detail (yet!) about how to preserve and the different methods. First I want to talk about the years of off grid food storing experience that started in a tent in Montana, then into an EarthShip and back into a tent to begin again in Arizona. So for now, not the most perfect set up, but as we build the Gabion Wallipini so shall the food storage set up be built.
