You should check out Ghost more. This was not a good clip by them. From my hometown Linköping. My girlfriend even went to school with one of the original members.

Such a bad video to learn about swedish metal bands, it litterly gave us nothing! It gave a bad first impression of the bands and artists. The video even cut off right before most of them could sing not to mention the order of the list makes no sense. Some of the most successful rock/metal bands are very low on that list. The video did skip to add some other good bands out there! Also not all bands on this list is pure metal either. This is no introduction of the bands I can understand the confustion. Europe is hardrock and glam metal, Ghost is not a typical metal band but still labeled to be hardrock/metal tho their songs mostly vary in different subgenres of rock and now they would lean into pop/rock. Sabaton is power metal, Aramanthe is also power metal. Backyard Babies is rock tho they were not on this video. If interested in metal bands with viking/pegan themes but in swedish language then I would recommend Grimner with the song "Eldhjärta" and Månegarm with the song "En snara av guld".

My favorite is Ghost. He won an amarecan grammy for the video to Cirice. The snippet in the video was probably the worst piece of the worst song.

Many peope think that Swedish music is just ABBA, but that's like saying the UK has nothing more than the Beatles. Sweden, the UK, and USA are the only countries that export more music than they import

My favorite Swedish bands are not on the list Clawfinger, Arch Enemy, Pain (Peter Tägtgren from Hypocrisy and Lindemann), Electric Boys, the heavy version of Europe (not their commercial stuff), Talisman, John Norum and 220 Volt.

Lmfao, on Ghost, when you said "they're swedish, I'm, sure the lyrics are quite normal!" I lost it. He's literally singing "HELL SATAN, Welcome Year Zero" :D

I would not put them in that order (for example Orbit Culture is so good), but I think both of you would like and check out Opeth and Ghost more

Great reaction! You've got to check out Amaranthe!🤘😉 I got introduced to them through Sabaton. Amaranthe were opening band for Sabaton on the Great Tour in Europe 2019/2020. I became a fan after been seeing them live.

wow, my expected podium 7th, 11th and 17th.. not an expert my any means but I expected the most interesting part being if who ever made this list would rank in flames or sabaton as no 1.
