I know this is out of topic but to be honest it is such a surreal feeling to see you going from living your life in japan being a model doing something fun and goofy not knowing how to cook to living your best life in HK , being such a good chef , building your little family and being a mom , i'm genuinely so happy for you
@@Taylor_R ....aww, maybe this comment is why, at the end of this video, I'm crying ( for NO reason!!!) like a baby, just looking at you.🥲😉 Its been YEARS I watch you, and here's come that time again, December, where I miss so much yours Vlogmas, laughing stuff, being complice with Sharla, etc, that I watch all yours VLOGMAS again, from the oldest to the last ones. You are a wonderful girl/woman Taylor, I am happy I found your channel, and I wish you the BEST for the years to come....Chantale, Montreal, Canada.🥰
I think it’s really sweet how you actively make sure that Rosie also feels loved and cared for 🥺 I know you must already be so tired as a new mum so it’s admirable you make time for everyone
So cute to finally see his jordan outfit that Tom has been saving. I love that you guys make it a point to go out on Sunday and include Rosie as much as possible.
I’m glad Tom had that talk with you to ensure you that he’s on your side that kind of communication makes a world of difference. You’re such a good mom.
My goodness, I love the way you’re keeping it real like this on your channel. RU-vidrs love to make things seem like sunshine and rainbows all the time so this is beyond refreshing. Your family is beautiful, Taylor. ♥️
It's so weird how I started watching your videos and vlogs about 6-7 years ago while I was at one of the lowest points in my life, going through a break up, working an awful job... watching your videos while having dinner made me feel less alone. Now I'm 26, wrapping up my 4th semester in medschool, happier. Time really does fly. Cheers from the other side of the world! Ensenada, Baja California. Mexico ✨
I love how Tom went from Elbowsan, to being known as Tom. To watch you two grow and blossom in your relationship and then to watch you two become parents, has been the most amazing thing. You two have grown and prospered before our eyes and it's such a lovely thing to see. I love that Rosie is still a huge part of the family and that her relationship with Levi has gotten better! He's gotten so big and my heart just can't handle it!
It gets to us when 'new' and already mommas say they feel or are scared that their bad moms. No honey your baby is happy smiling and laughing and has a roof over their head you're doing the best you can and thats all you can do
Thanks for being so honest about the struggles! Having children can be a incredible challenge and sleep deprivation can have everyone on else, and I'm so glad you're not sugar coating. If we are mentally prepared for the challenges ahead, and it can everyone put things into perspective ☺️
Awwww. The fact that Tom brought those trainers 10 years ago makes me ❤. And it’s true, in that moment you feel the 😮💨 but in the future when you look back you do only remember the good and easy times. You remember it being hard but it’s overshadowed by the joy.
I love that Tom has gotten a bit more comfortable being on camera lately but that he still maintains his privacy. It shows how much he loves and supports his wife and equally, how much Taylor loves and supports him in his desire to live most of his life off camera. This is one of the most lovely families ever
I completely agree. It’s so nice to see Tom blossoming on camera, and how respectful Taylor has always been of his comfort level. Truly inspiring to see.
watching your videos all these years has really helped me change my perspectives about a lot of things. when i feel like i need to be a better person, i think of you, and how honest and open and bright you are.
Having kids can definitely make or break a relationship. Some people have kids to “save” marriage but it can have the total opposite effect. Patience, understanding and communication are key for sure.
16:15 I feel like this is such an important thing Taylor said here!! It's hard not to cry hearing this, it's so true (at least for little things that can be turned into a laugh and not a stressful situation)
I had a poodle before, she was the best dog ever, loving and happy, everyone in the neighborhood loves her…. She have a long life, 18 years together and even now, after 15 years from her passing, we always remember her as it was here yesterday.
Love how Tom handled that. “We are on the same thing” was one of the biggest take aways my husband and I got from a marriage group we were in several years before we even had kids. We’ve needed the reminder much more after having kids. Just absolutely drains everything out at time and inhibits conflict resolution 😣 I’ve found it gets easier as you get past the sleep troubles (I do poorly with sleep deprivation) but we still need to be very intentional with our relationship
Can’t believe how big Levi has gotten. Just remember when she was getting help with lady and Levi was newborn. Rosie such a cute dog . Halloween costumes were so cute .
Being new parents is really hard. Just don't forget to be kind to yourselves and to each other. You are both new to this. I pray that both of you will continue to be supportive and proud of each other. Thanks for keeping this real. Hugs.
Im pregnant with my first child, and watching this channel and your whole journey has really put me at ease with being a new mom. Everyone tells you its the worst and that your life is going to suck. They try to scare you. But your easy and calm energy has only made me excited, and made me confident that i can do this and love every second of it; the good the bad and the stinky!
That's Terrible that people around you say those things! Motherhood is definitely challenging but it doesn't make your life suck! Some days might be hard and can suck but those days are nothing compared to the good ones you will have!
I really loved what you said at the end of the video about how when you look back on these memories you will only remember being together and none of the hectic or stressful things that were happening at the time. I thought that was really sweet and a lovely way to think about this time. If I ever have a family one day, I want to make time like this for them. I want to put in the effort to do things together even when it is difficult, because like you said, those are the things that you'll remember. Just as a lack of time spent with loved ones leaves a painful memory instead.
Thanks Taylor for an inspiring vid, a cute as heck Halloween and an escape like only TayTay can provide 🥰 Life can get messy and hard but you & Tom have got this. Levi and Rosie are proof of that. Happy Fall to you all 🥰
One of the biggest things that helped the first couple years after having my sons is my husband taking 50% of the whole day to day. Regardless of him having a job, being a stay at home mom was a FT job for me just likr his job. He'd come home and take over with the boys so I could get me time, or whatever I wanted to do i.e. go shopping, take a nap, whatever.
It is definitely not easy. I have been there and done it. Couple works as a team and looking back at these memories when kids have grown up, it is definitely worth it 😊
Ugh I can’t wait for the next update …Levi and Rosie really warms my heart ♥️ So awesome you guys managed to talk and learn to work as a team as I hate when the mother is left alone to ddo it all
Your videos bring me so much joy because its so genuine and being able to be part of your journey is just kind of magical! Thanks for keeping us in the loop! You're never a failure taytay! You're doing great!
Totally agree!! Communication is key. We just adopted two girls we were placed with a year ago. It was tough, but we’re now more settled and in a better flow!
You are so right. Having kids is tough sometimes and my husband and I are always busy just doing the bare minimum. But I will always look back in this time and feel joy that we were all together ❤
The first two years as first time parents are the hardest on a relationship! It’s like two completely different people trying to work together all over again… but it gets much better once the freaking out over everything subsides 🤣
Oh my gosh that little outfit Tom dressed him in ❤️ also I could not stop laughing when you were dressing everyone on their Halloween outfits, such a highlight 🙌🙌
Who knew 17 minutes could feel so fast?? Thanks for being such a bright light to our days! You're an excellent momma, wife, and content creator! Your show up and try your best every day and with as much love and positivity as you can and it SHOWS!
I enjoyed this vlog so much Taylor❤ it’s been incredible watching you grow into a beautiful family over the years and I’m so proud to see all you’ve accomplished Love you! 🥰😘💕
Taylor, I am a similar age to you, and our babies were born days apart. You're doing great. Keep doing what you're doing. Thank you for everything you share with us. Love u girl
I'm glad you talk about this topic. I'm going to the same thing with a two year old and its so nice to know and hear about other people that are going through it. It's easy to forget that we're a team and not work against each other💖 it's gonna get better i know it!
Obviously a baby will change everything sometimes good or not so good. The things you're not used to can make a big difference like no time to yourself, the baby crying, no sleep, always busy but you have to somehow squeeze in time for yourself.
Love your fam! u have that glow not stress! You got so much hair and no break out! Thabks for sharing your journey! I wish there was more vid it mKes my day but I know how busy mom you are!
I had that with the turkey one year as well. Followed the directions and it wasn't stuffed so it didn't need additional time. And didn't realize until after we had eaten some of the outer area, that the center area was pretty undercooked. I don't carve up the whole turkey because I don't want it to dry out. I just take what we need directly from it. But yeah, it was like those parts did not want to cook fully. Even after going back in the oven.
Thanks for the video Taylor with so many things going on I love every photo every tiktok every story you make time to tell . Levi is getting so big so fast spend as much time with him this 1st year is so precious. Love seeing your family 💖on my own for Thanksgiving this was a perfect little treat LOVE YOU
A tip for the turkey: Tasty posted a video about how to spatchcock a turkey several years ago, and I swear I will never ever try to cook the bird whole after watching everyone I know struggle with it for years. By all means, cook the bird whole if you want, but if you want to make it easy for yourself, *spatchcock.*
I'm crying watching this because it doesn't matter how much effort I put in my relationship, looks like I will never be enough to be his wife or the mother of his kids.
I would definitely recommend buying a meat thermometer. I had really bad food poisoning from eating in a restaurant on holiday 19 years ago and I ended up in hospital for 3 days. Ever since then, I've been a bit funny about my food and always make sure that it's fresh and cooked well. I'd often overcook meat because I'd be so worried about it being undercooked. Using a meat thermometer really takes the guess work out of it and means that you're less likely to dry your food out or undercook it. Mine only cost me £5 and it's worth every penny.
I too think communication is important in a successful relationship and if any 1 has struggles with communicating then a therapist is next best I seriously believe regardless how u do it communicate x
They soon grow up taylor my late wife had 3 children,56,55 and 53 and we or i should say have 6 grandchildren 4 great great grandchildren in other parts of england.
Oh my gosh, the costumes, hilarious! Levi looked so cute in his Michael Jordan outfit and shoes he finally got to wear! :) Rosie, waiting for you by Levi's door. She knows the routine and was waiting for you. :)
Hahaha... Your costumes are HILARIOUS!!! 🤣🤣🤣 Levi is such a cute, cute, happy baby.... Your dog is super cute as well ... And you, my dear, are extremely beautiful! I just started watching you through your confinement video and i loved the way you described your experience, your energy, positivity and realness! Such a beautiful little family and i hope you all have many, many wonderful years ahead!
You guys are such a T.T.eam 💕💕 You definitely make me feel excited and give me courage to start a little family of my own. It's started off a little bumpy but I know we will get there one day. Sending you all lots of love and strength from Oz 🐨💞 - Also I know life can be taxing on the best of days, we all really appreciate the efforts that you make to create your amazing and heart warming content. We will always be here, hope you take it easy Xx
My dog, Kiki and my son only played together once he could stand up on 2 legs. We have a bigger one and she was too anxious I think to play with him. Now that he s 3 , those 2 have proper rumbles , so it's gonna be fine, no worries
My dogs didn't really care about my son until he started eating food instead of just milk. They would be little vacuums under his high chair lol. The only time we had issues is when we had grapes...we no longer eat grapes in our house.
Hi Rosie, your baby is the cutest. Just want to point something out with the carrier, his hips need to be in an M position. I also didn’t know this and found out later. Lots of love
