I was thinking the same thing. She should have been a beauty queen🤗🤗. I absolutely love her calm, smooth voice and just recently started watching her. You can certainly tell she loves Jesus🤗🤗🤗
Phyllis died 5 days ago on January 25, 2020 of cancer. I just wanted to watch this video again tonight because Bucky and Phyllis were such a lovely couple. What a love story! Rest in peace to them both.
Mary Cahill, I discovered Mrs Phyllis’ RU-vid cooking channel about three months ago. I learned a couple of days ago, she “moved to heaven”. I guess RU-vid will eventually take her posts and videos away. I am sad about that. But I will be watching as many of the videos as possibly can before that happens.
And me!! I absolutely loved them both, missing them so much! What I really appreciated about them was their kindness, their warmth, their sincerity and politeness, but really, they were excellent, and that should be every Christian's desire, to be excellent in everything you do and the way you deal with people!
@@lmlmlmlm7627 Phyllis got cancer and got sick and one day she came downstairs and found Mr. Bucky in his chair, he has passed away (maybe a heart attack?) And then she got sicker and sicker and then she passed. I watched them for years and used to email and chat with Phyllis and they were just great people. I am so glad she decided to make the channel and share their life and dinners with everyone.
And now Phyllis has passed. She was such a wonderful lady. She will be by Mr Buckey and her Daughter in heaven. Fabulous couple. Will be sadly missed on RU-vid. Long may her channel continue... RIP 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧😢
It’s amazing how fond u can become of people just from watching their RU-vid channel...I miss these 2 sweet sweet people. RIP Mr and Mrs Stokes..I hope you two are holding hands in Heaven. ♥️♥️♥️
What happened to her daughter? I just found them .I had rotator cuff surgery Feb.12, and have been watching her videos. She was so charismatic, so sorry to learn they have both passed away
I love this story. Mr Bucky says Ms Phyllis “loves to cuddle when she slow danced”. Ms Phyllis certainly wanted it known who was the best dancer between she and her friend, Dianne. lol. Such a beautiful, playful, loving story. . It is so comforting knowing they are together again... I love how Ms Phyllis looks lovingly at Mr Bucky and then says “ok now let me tell my part”; or “let me intervene”; “let me tell it, you’ll get it wrong”. lol Ms Phyllis is a beautiful, true, Southern lady. An absolute treasure. She reminds me of my mother and grandmother with her stories, her recipes and cooking. A glass of sweet tea in honor of Ms Phyllis and Mr Bucky.
When did they go to Heaven? Does anyone know. Forgive me if Im wrong. I assumed when I saw the video her son made regarding the walk through of ‘mom’s house’. I cried all the way through that video. 🥺😢😢😢😢
@@tammysummerfield183 Mr. Bucky went Home to be with The Lord on Sunday, July 7, 2019. Miss Phyllis joined him a little more than six months later on January 25 of this year. They were much beloved by all who were blessed enough to know them, and they are dearly missed. It's so comforting to see Stephen and his family not only continuing with his Mom's channel, but sharing Phyllis's and Bucky's legacy of faith, family and food.🕊💐
This couple was saved! I feel their spirits. God brought them together and loaned them to us for a little while. I found the channel tonight, April 7, 2020. I have been making Keto meals, while confined to the house during COVID19. I wanted to make an onion pie, and I stumbled upon and PHYLLIS. I made the pie tonight and it is so delicious! It tastes as if it came from on high. At the time, I wasn’t aware that Ms Phyllis had passed. I was drawn back to her voice and her spirit. God led me to her channel! They both are glowing in this video.
i happened upon this family by fate im guessing, maybe a month ago or so i saw Mrs. Phyllis make a dish that i for some strange reason cant remmeber without looking throuh my history (which i most certainly wil now do), anyhow it must have been great since it led to many many more.. i often find myself with so many questions as i am catching bits and pieces. I saw her son shortly after prepare the tuna cassarole, i now find myself so happy to see his weekly message... i am very much thankful for his words of wisdom since it mostly is all i get for the week.. im defen going to try and learn as much moving forward about this seemingly touching family as well as The Lord please excuse all the errors in grammer :) God Bless You.. 10/02/22
I found Phyllis and Mr. Bucky in 11-2023. It ALL (❤️) started by watching a pineapple cake with egg white frosting. I totally forgot my Mom made egg white frosting when I was a child (50’s) and so I “clicked”--wow! so glad I did !! 💜✝️💜
I'm still coming back to watch these old videos. They're so heartwarming and such a good reminder of the important things in life. I could listen to Phyllis's and Bucky's stories for hours. It's like listening to a lullaby. They were two amazing people.
You know??????? I think every couple should re talk through their own story ...meeting etc. every anniversary...and remember when and how they fell in love....maybe there'd be less divorce.
Laurel Schmitz When you spoke of losing your daughter,I just lost it,I have really come to love you both.May God always keep you blessed.♡♡♡Much love to the Stokes family.
I re-watch this in honor of Miss Phyllis and Mr.Bucky. It's a total shock to find you have left us now, Miss Phyllis. But I know you join your daughter Renee and dear Mr.Bucky with Heavenly Father. RIP
They were precious! I just discovered Miss Phyllis last night while looking for a biscuit recipe. So sorry to hear about her death. Bless their hearts.
RIP Mr. Bucky you brought to all what a good man is suppose to be. A good husband, father and mentor. You lived your life the best you could as God asked us all to do. Dear Phyllis, Mr. Bucky is part of you and that will never fade away. Thank you both for sharing your life together with us and we pray God's peace that passes all understanding will hold you now and in the future. We will be checking on you Phyllis as we travel on. Godspeed, love and kisses.

Who would have thought an onion pie recipe would lead me to learn so much about the wonderful woman cooking it!!! Thank you for sharing more than recipes!!
Kevin Doheny I'd looked at alot of recipes and kept seeing this picture but not reading underneath. Saw it again and thought the woman looked familiar, read underneath and sure enough it was Phillis. So started listening to " OUR STORY " Loved IT👏👏💕💕
I’m rewatching this video in remembrance of 2 wonderful people. This couple was such an inspiration. I didn’t know them personally, but these videos really show how special they were. God created 2 beautiful souls in this couple.
Very heartbreaking that Phyllis has lost her life partner and soulmate on earth. Although with their faith, some day they will be able to pick up where they left off and there will be no pain or sadness. 💕
Wow 11 grand children, how sweet. I bet you feel so happy you have this on video so you can look at it any time you want! So sorry you had to lose Mr Bucky.
I'm watching this after hearing of Phyllis's passing. I loved their story. They had such great chemistry and they were both so GORGEOUS! Im sad but know they are together in Heaven and that is a comfort.
I just now 8-15-20 learned about Miss Phillis' passing. Saw her post for the first time a few nights ago. But really enjoyed it. Hate hearing all this. But a joy knowing they were both christians. Knowing they're together once again and with their daughter.
I promise you I just stumbled across Mrs Phyllis page and felt her spirit of a really nice lady, I absolutely love this video. I could only hope to met a man nice and respectful like Mr. Buckey. Rest in heaven to both of them 💕
Hearing their love story is so beautiful. I lost my husband 5-yrs ago, we were married for 26-short yrs. He to was my second husband. He was a wonderful step-father to my son's, best of the best "Tata" to the grandchildren.
I hope Bucky and Phyllis' sons and grandchildren have seen this and keep it for posterity. How I wish I had a video like this with my own parents talking about how they met and dated, etc. Priceless memories, recorded forever for whoever downloads this and keeps it. RIP to a lovely couple who have gone to their reward with their God. I for one will never forget them.
I'm so glad her son is keeping the channel going in a very sweet way :) he looks so much like his mama, it's lovely to know he and his family have this treasure trove of memories, I agree :)
@@getmotivated1707 Yes, Steve posting, especially so regularly, has been like a breath of fresh air to me, after so many months of silence from Phyllis and praying for her and wondering about her condition for so long. He seems like a great guy.
Now that both Phyllis and Mr. Bucky have passed this is even more precious, especially for their family, grandchildren, and those yet to come. What a wonderful blessing for their family to have. Bless all of you during your time of grieving.
Now please don't take this the wrong way. I am plauged by chronic insomnia and came across one of Miss Phyllis' recipes and her soothing voice soon had me deeply asleep dreaming of food and smelling freshly baked biscuits. I feel I was sitting in your parlour having a wonderful visit with you both. Bless you and your families...
Years ago Bob Ross had a show The Joy of Painting which came on PBS every Saturday. Of course that was years before the days of cable but I made an effort to watch him every Saturday. I very seldom made it through an entire episode of his show because his soothing voice would put me to sleep almost every time. I can imagine that if someone had been plagued with insomnia the best thing they could do is watch an old Joy of Painting show. Insomnia cured!
If I ever feel down or sad, I come here and watch these lovely people. I feel blessed to have been part of their life, even though I never met them. Bless you both and your family. Rest peacefully both x
I have just watched this wonderful video once again so that I could see Mr. Bucky talking to you, and to see both of you so happily telling us of your life's journey together. What a lovely, caring man. A true gentleman.
Upon learning of the passing of Mr. Bucky I had to rewatch this video. It shows undeniably the love you have for each other and the importance of faith in your marriage. What a beautiful marriage and family you both created... Truly uplifting!
I came back! They reminded me of my grandparents just sparkling souls. I'm 35 now, but I watched Ms. Phillis just for comfort years ago. It's amazing how a stranger can impact your life. Thanks again for sharing your lives with us, you guys are truly missed.
A wonderful video for all to treasure. So sad to hear of your Beloved’s passing. Be strong Phyllis and He and Mr. Bucky will help you from above. Praying for you so.
OK. They are both in heaven, but this was a very intetesting and enjoyable story. For whomever may read this comment... What a beautiful couple. What beautiful children! This is a great story!💕💕🌹
So glad after their 1st marriage didn’t go right that they met and fell in love. This is truly so romantic and puts a big smile on my face and warms my heart.
I love hearing their voices again in my kitchen. I could listen to their stories and teasing each other all the time. It's peaceful hearing them again.
I always come back to watch this segment. It makes me realize how good these two people were. I just loved them both. I know that heaven has these angels now. I hope to meet them someday. ❤️😇😇
So sweet to watch this after just listening to you tell us, Mr. Bucky has passed on. I’m so sorry for your loss and heartache. But it makes my heart sing to see how much love, friendship, and respect there was between the two of you. I know you’re broken hearted, but I think Mr. Bucky felt he needed to get up to heaven before you and get things prepared for the day you’ll be together again. God Bless you. Calm your sorrow with all your wonderful memories.
I'm so sorry for the passing of your beloved daughter. The beautiful part of being Christian is knowing we never really lose any of our loved ones; they'll be waiting for us in Heaven. Also I'd much appreciate your keeping my husband Lee on your payer lists. He begins radiation treatments this week. Thank you so much.
I came specifically because of Mr. Bucky's passing. The twinkle in both of your eyes while you both told your story.......SIGH, true LOVE!!! Hugs Phyllis. I know it's not much with your loneliness but please remember that we love you!!!
I’m watching this now after both of you have passed and I’m thinking what a wonderful beautiful couple. I wish I had found your channel sooner. I know both of you are happy still🤗
Hi Phyllis...this is my 2nd time watching this. I just LOVE you and Mr. Bucky's love story. I laughed and cried during this video. So sorry for the loss of your beautiful daughter. One day you will be together again. Such handsome sons too. You looked soooooo Beautiful In all the pictures...One beautiful family. You and Mr. Bucky were meant to be together. God is truly good. Love all of your videos...thank you for sharing them. Grace & Peace
Phyllis Stokes GOD BLESS YOU, PHYLLIS. YOU HAVE SO MANY TRAITS THAT REMIND ME OF MY AUNT AND GRANDMA. YOU COOK JUST LIKE THEY DID. I WISH I COULD REACH THROUGH THE SCREEN AND GIVE YOU A HUG!
I'm amazed in the best way how people can marry, and go through a divorce and be like "Never again will I marry again."' Then the right person comes along and changes everything.
Phyllis, I’ve watched this twice now. Such a real life and heartwarming story. You and Mr. B. raised some beautiful children to b proud of. Your daughter was lovely and I felt your sadness as you talked about her. You and Bucky made a very handsome couple and it’s no wonder that you both decided to marry again. It’s been quite a few years since this video was made. And I just want to say thank you for posting it and may God continue to bring you many many blessings.
May they both Rest In Peace, together. Sad to hear that she just past away a few days back. Now, they both can really love life to the fullest, cause their dying is all done over with and never again shall they both have to die for which they are truly living with Jesus Christ, the one who died for them and for the whole world.
I wish I had discovered this channel years ago! I love these 2 amazing people! I have been binge watching Phyllis’ videos, trying some of her recipes and looking forward to cooking many more. I hope these 2 wonderful souls know how many people they have touched and will touch in the future. I am sure they are together in Heaven ❤️ My soul feels so much better when I watch these videos!
Phylis, God brought the two of you together that rainy day for a reason. True love is hard to come by. Fate brought you together, God had answered both of your prayers. You and Mr.Bucky were blessed. It sounded so sweet when he said, "it was love at first sight." I enjoyed your story, thank you for thinking to do this. I am going to ask my husband to do this with me. Our story has a lot of similarities. It was love at first sight for ME.
RIP Phyllis & Mr. Buckie you are reunited in heaven with each other and your beautiful daughter! I pray your family will be comforted by much love thoughts and prayers!
I just found “Ms. Phyllis” today; I clicked on her Lime Jello/Cream Cheese video. I’ve watched maybe 10 videos today where she’d always show “Mr. Bucky’s” plate but never saw him. I’m really glad to finally see Mr.Bucky. What a sweet couple!! One rarely meets such lovely people anymore in these crazy times we live in. God bless both Ms. Phyllis & Mr. Bucky!
Came here to rewatch Ms.Phyllis after she passed .I know you and Mr.Bucky are in the after life together may you both R.I.P I love listening to her story’s We love & miss you . Love from Alabama
Just when I thought I couldn't love a person in a video, through the interwebs, and then I watch this lovely and honest story and fall gobsmacked in love with you and your Mr. Bucky! I'm marrying my love in October and I have the honor of raising his 10yo boy. I love him like my own and I can only hope he'll love me like I'm his too!
This is one of the most touching stories I've ever heard. I believe people come into other peoples life for a reason. You are blessed. My condolences for the loss of your beautiful daughter. Your pictures are beautiful memories of the past. Thank you for sharing your story & family.
Well, Phyllis, you're a pretty gorgeous woman, yourself. ☺️ What a beautiful love story. ♥️ Hollywood can't ever create this kind of beauty in life. Only God can.
Mrs.Phyllis you are such a gorgeous woman, inside and out. I'm grateful you have these memories of you and Mr.Bucky, and how the Lord God, brought you both together. Prayers & hugs xxxx
Just now seeing this couple for the first time. So wish I could have found them sooner, really touched my heart. What a sweet and loving relationship and testament of God's love and blessings. I pray one day I will be blessed to have a love story as beautiful as this.
Miss Phyllis is now with Mr. Bucky..in the presence of the Lord. Loved by so many, now basking in the love of our Lord. May the Lord give comfort and peace to their children, grandchildren and all who loved them. Beautiful love story.
I just love how they both look at one another so lovingly as they tell their story. You can see how much fun they were having reminiscing through their history together. I only ran across Phyllis’s channel a couple of days ago and I subbed immediately bc she was so sweet and personable. I feel the same way about her son Steven, I really appreciate that he decided to continue/keep his mom’s channel going. I love his stories about his parents and his childhood.. etc. He’s just as sweet as his mom was. Blessings to the family during this tough time, it’s never easy losing a loved one...... and PS. Is it just me or did Miss Phyllis look like one of the Charlie’s Angel’s back in her younger years? She was just a gorgeous lady through and through. May her and Mr. Bucky Rest In Peace... together, what a lovely couple they were. 🙏🏼 💐
Thanks so much to Phyllis and Buckey and to their son Steve for opening up their hearts and lives to show so much love, courage, truth and faith. I look forward to continuing to watch and learn from her cooking videos ... just love her soft spoken sweet voice. Such a sweet special family. See ya'll in Heaven sometime and until then hope Steve will continue sharing some of this family's saga.
Miss Phyllis what a beautiful love story and how precious to have it on video. Mr. Bucky was your prince. Thank you for sharing this again. May the Lord bring you peace in your time loss. Mr. Bucky will be missed.
Way to go Mr.Bucky!!!..Loved to hear the part of the story where you mentioned the "Family Devotions"!!!...the Men are supposed to be the Spiritual Leaders of the household..But,Sadly Very Few men take this Seriously!!!...GREAT JOB♡🙏 **What a wonderful example you set for your boys!... **More Family Devotions mean LESS DIVORCE😉
I'm 46 year old, and have been married for 25 years. I was just looking for a Salisbury steak recipie and I found you. Phyllis you remind me of my mom. She passed away when I was 32 and I still miss her cooking. Keep up the great job. And more great recipies
