I'm so glad the fire didn't break out while you were sleeping. Glad you both were safe. In a crisis situation, you both handled it together nicely.

Be thankful the two of you are safe and unharmed. Don’t worry about the material things. I was in our trailer when an F3 tornado hit. (175 MPH wind) It completely destroyed our home and I was thrown over 100 feet. I was hurt-broken arm, cut and bruised, my back was hurt but I lived and my husband and children weren’t there. We lost everything. I just thank God we all lived. You will be fine and live to camp again! 😊

This was truly heartbreaking. I cried when she cried. As you said it could have been worse, but honestly, you joking with her about it, helped her to not fall apart. I am an electrician living in Korea. All campers watching this video should wear a rubber insulator (rubber cap) hat to prevent the voltage part of the battery from being exposed. It really protects a lot. Electricity is convenient, but we must not forget that a fire can be started with just a 1.5v battery. - I'm glad the fire didn't start while you were sleeping. If you learn a lesson and forget your misfortune, good things will await you.

It's nice to see Sanos learning how to manage this disaster. You guided her and calmed her well. You both have a strength that helps each other.

Get a tipi , you won’t regret it , they are perfect for fire and safe . Obviously tipi poles require a large vehicle with racks , but if you can manage that , tipis are amazing, warm, safe ,and spacious , with high wind and snow resistance . Bamboo poles are light and easy to manage , it’s just the length that can be a challenge . I’m glad you both were not burnt , lessons learnt hard , are not forgotten . Peace from Australia.

The baked potatoes sounded perfectly cooked with the crispy skin on the outside. A good baked potato with cheese or sour cream and butter is delicious. They are also yummy with a tomato salsa. I haven't watched the whole video yet, but I am sorry that your tent caught fire. That is something that I have feared watching the various camping videos where people have a wood stove or cook inside the tent. I grew up going on camping trips each summer for a few weeks to a month with my parents and 6 other siblings and our dog. We had a trailer that had a tent attached to the top which was also a queen size bed. The 4 locking compartments underneath the bed held most of our equipment and sleeping bags. There was a zip on addictional room where we setup our camping cots that could be stacked like bunkbeds and that is what my siblings and I slept on in our sleeping bags. It could get pretty cold at night in the mountains where we went camping and exploring. All of the food was kept in the back of the family vehicle to prevent bears and other wildlife from getting into it. We cooked outside either over the campfire that usually had a grill grate you could lift up if you didn't need it to cook on.we had to clean it well before using it and sometimes we covered it with foil before putting food on it. We also had a Coleman campstove that was set up on a folding metal table we brought with us we did our prep work either at that table or on the picnic table in the campsite. We even did our dishes and cleanup there. Whenever we came to a new campsite part of the setup after the tent was to put up a series of canopies that covered the picnic table and prep table and the front of the tent. Depending upon the site layout they could actually connect which was helpful if it rained. Dad had heavy duty tarps and plastic sheeting that he attached to the sides of the canopies to keep it dry underneath them and provide a covered walkway which came in handy when you have 7 children and a dog. We always had a lot of fun on those trips.

Yup, a nice cup of tea cures alot.....So sorry for your loss, but you both are okay...and sort of laughing....a good thing.

Your video just showed up on my feed and I almost went passed it. I love to camp and also use inflatable tents. I enjoy watching others camp all around the world and I like learning from others. You both dealt with the situation extremely well. Yes I would be crying too, but, you are both unharmed and alive. The tent and all the paraphernalia is materialistic, it can be replaced. No amount of money would replace either of you. 🙏🏻🥰❤️

Electrical fires happen every day, it was unfortunate that this happened to you whilst at the same time fortunate that it happened whilst you were outside of the tent. The main damage was to replaceable items. I understand the pain and disappointment that you both went through on that day, such an emotional thing to go through. Thankfully it wasn’t more serious and neither of you were injured in the process of extinguishing the fire. I hope it doesn’t put you off trying again as you had a beautiful set up and it was fun to watch you on the lake in the dinghy. ❤

Ayrıca elektrikli ürünler her zaman risk barındırıyor, cana geleceğine mala gelsin. Elektrikli ürünleri mümkün mertebe yaşam alanı dışında tutmakta fayda var, gece siz uyurken başınıza gelse çok daha kötü olabilirdi. Özellikle gece uyku alanınızda elektrikli aletleri tutmamakta fayda var. Tekrardan geçmiş olsun.

Don't carry too many electrical gadgets in the camp. All that equipment is makeshift. Don't try to re-create home comfort totally in the camp. Otherwise what would be the difference between home and camp? Try to generate natural comfort. You people managed the disaster very well. It was very nice that you collected all the garbage. You are a nice couple. Please be more careful in future.😊
