Please don't rush... you need to take time to enjoy her. And, pregnancy is very difficult for Katie. Don't feel pressured into rushing... just have a great time as a family of 3 ❤

For my 2 daughters who are in their 20s now I had a baby box of things I saved for each child. Special outfits, one wore home from hospital, outfit had professional pictures made in. I kept first rattle, first shoes, some hair from first haircut, hospital bands from birth, first baby Bible, an infant diaper first size, clean of course. My oldest is now expecting her first child and it was so fun to go through her baby box with the family from both sides during the gender reveal weekend.

You don't sound dumb Katie, you sound like the best mom who truly loves her baby!! If only all babies had parents who loved them like you and Travis!!😊

We had five daughters within six years. 14 months apart, 18 months apart, 21 months apart, and lastly 21 months apart. It is never a dull moment and they have built in besties!

Your heart definitely grows after having each baby. My 8th was born 2 weeks after Hailey. We love him just as much as we love all of our children. It's just amazing. We have 1 girl and 7 boys in a row. Most of my kids are 14- 21 months apart. Hailey is precious! It's sweet seeing a girl baby because we don't see many girls.

I put my baby's first outfits in a shadow box with the hospital wristbands and nursery name cards. They are very sweet. Then I saved clothes throughout the years and plan to make a quilt with them. Love on your baby girl, while you can!! She is adorable!

Keep what you want of Hailey’s. You won’t regret it. My oldest is almost 37, and I still have the blanket with a Christmas Tree in the corner from the hospital when we were released, because he was born 3 days before Christmas and I was released on Christmas Day. And his very first baby blue Sherpa newborn snow suit. Wouldn’t change a thing.💙

I had my first baby at 21 and my second at 22.. they are 19 months apart.. it wasn't bad since the new baby was a good sleeper..i remember freaking out at first become my first was only 10 months old when I found out I was pregnant with baby #2.. it all worked out and they got to play soccer together for a few years it was so cool! They are 22&21 now and my youngest is 3 months pregnant with her first.. such happy times and so exited to be a glamma I call it it instead of grandma haha😂 You two are the most awesome, sweetest parents and baby Hailey is stunningly beautiful just like her mama!! She does look a lot like Trav too!

Pausing at 15:35... I was terrified during my second pregnancy that the love I had for my son was so great that there was no more room for my next son. Well you remember what it felt like when Little Miss was born?! That magic that happened and you were instantly in love more than you've ever felt before? It happens again and your love grows- that old saying - love doesn't divide, it grows- well it's true!! Y'all have an adorable little family❤

For our kid’s baby clothes, we used some of our favorite newborn to 3 month clothes for their build a bears/dolls. Hailey will definitely use them/enjoy them as she gets older, but I loved seeing them on display in the nursery till then.

I used to get teary eyed every time I removed all the clothes my kids had outgrown.😢 My youngest is 12 now & 6’ tall!! I’m the shortest person in my family. Enjoy every moment of your baby’s life & fully feel all the emotions….cling to the happy ones though.

Katie a little advice I would deal with your kidney stones first before thinking about getting pregnant at any point cause kidney stones could make lots of issues you know from your moms experience with gall stones so just a thought love you guys Haley you are adorable.

Cute video! It’s so heartwarming to see how much you both love being parents! There are all kinds of good reasons for spacing children. Whatever you choose to do will be the right one for your family! You won’t know if a different spacing would be better because you didn’t choose that! My children are all grown and I am a happy and blessed grandparent now! As a young mother I always tried to remember to live in all the joys of the moment and look ahead to all the joys to come so I didn’t get caught up in feeling too sad over moments that had already passed.

Every time I see Hailey I start thinking about baby names. 😻 Have all the babies as close together as you want -- time can run away from you, trust me. Hailey is precious!! I agree with Katie, Hailey has grown up so fast, I feel like she was just born yesterday. It is nice to have sibling that are close in age with you because you can actually be great friends with them. I think it's funny how surprised Travis was when the lady knew who Gil was!!

Parenthood is such a bittersweet experience. Watching them grow is joyful yet sad at the same time. To see them develop into a young little person and reach milestones is the joyful part. Having them grow is the sad part.

Definitely save a few small outfits and just put them in a keepsake tote. I’ve done that for all 3 of my daughters and they loveeee going through the tote and seeing how small they were and all the cute things they used when they were babies ❤

It is definitely difficult for many parents to get rid of clothes their child has outgrown. It is really emotional 😭😭. On another note, Hailey is sooooo CUTE!!!!!!! Beautiful parents too.

My children are 53 & 51, still have their special little baby items plus s school treasures. Those beautiful memories are amazing!

Feeling sad about packing away Hailey's too small clothes reminded me of the story of my family. There is a 5 year gap between my brother (the oldest) and my oldest sister. When Kathy was about Hailey's age now, Mom was also weeding out her clothes that had gotten too small. Mom began to get nostalgic and thought that it would be a shame to give away such cute clothes, My sister Terri was born 16 months later. Mom and Dad didn't have baby number 4 for another 13 years.

Mine were 17 months apart…I didn’t plan it that way but so glad. We didn’t completely get out of one stage..it just kept going. What a blessing!

Don't feel rushed to have another because everyone asks or because your mom did. Your body needs to heal. It's best to wait 1 year or 18 months post birth. Enjoy those firsts!

I have 4 and they are 20 mos to 24 mos apart. It was great no jealousy from the youngest and they are now 45 to 39 and still so close and we had a the best time I highly recommend it. They also are spring babies again the nausea had stopped by Thanksgiving, I felt like a million dollars at Christmas and to deliver in the spring is wonderful. I know how hard it is to put up baby clothes. In the years to come the things you save will be precious memories. Thanks for sharing !!

I hated putting clothes up as mine grew out of them.🥺 I had my kids 10-14months apart and they got to grow up together. Great age gap. I think siblings will be close and friends regardless of the space. My nieces/nephews are all within 2 years of eachother, my children are 3.5 years apart and all are wonderful friends. It's such a JOY to enjoy each child as they come.

You all are the purest couple what you see is how you all really are. So many other couples online their lives seem fake and it’s a show, which a lot is but you both are the greatest. Your love for being parents and for each other but most of all the love you have for God is huge inspiration and you guys shine with his love. Of course Katie your home place is right near me. I am currently traveling back and forth to UT cancer center. I live in Tri cities, (Jonesborough- Johnson city and Bristol area). Hailey is so Blessed to have everything that she needs!!! My daughter only had like 5 outfits !!! Thats it !! Also she only had 3 small toys !! Thats it !! So, shes grown now and she has been so blessed that she can afford clothes and toys !!! Im a paraplegic and my husband worked alot but he only received minimum wage. 😢 Life was very rough!!! And it still is.

I was terrified about having a second baby but I got pregnant unexpectedly and after I had my second boy they are seriously the best friends. They are 5&2 and they are inseparable.

My girls are 14mo apart and although it was super hard in the beginning, I’m so blessed now that they are 16 & 17 and they are so close❤. They have always played on same sports teams which has been very nice. I love how close they are!

My son is now 21 I have kept a keep sake box of his first baby things. I made a baby book . I have is first going home out fit from hospital and lots more. I remember having a few tears packing his baby things up. Hailey is such beautiful baby enjoy every moment because it goes to quick.

Every parent feels that way about worrying if they could love their second as much as their first! You will! The nice thing about having them closer in age too if when they get older, they are interested in the same things also they keep each other busy.

I don’t know if this is the video you did on your kidney stone Katie but I found a recipe for kidney stones that might help. Orange, Apple, watermelon and lemon and in case you need to do a kidney detox afterwards use carrot,watermelon, cucumber and cilantro. And no it didn’t give the amount of each so you might have to experiment. I pray this helps you.

Hey guys my 2 kids are 3 years apart. One boy one girl. So glad they are 3 years apart. When they got older it was easy to go and watch my son play ball and my daughter dance.. plus I didn't won't two kids in diapers and bottles but thats me. Haley is a great baby . I'm seeing this vlog a month lather. I had my 2 children 15 months apart. It was crazy for a few years, but Katie you have so much family support it will be fine for you, still hard but fine. And yes your heart does expand. I too didn't think I could love another child as much and I did and do the first. I too know of the Bates and I'm in Australia.

Unsolicited mom advice from a mom of three: That sentimental feeling with putting away clothes and getting out the next sizes is sometimes overwhelming, especially with a first child. I have three children and it gets a bit easier, but it still hits you. I recommend vacuum bags for each size. Label the sex, size ,and season in the bag. They keep better and are easier to store and sort as you go along. Remember that the size listed is the oldest age they should wear that outfit, not the size to start wearing it. 💙💙💜
