I am so happy you both have had this time together---I know you miss your family--the 4 legged ones as well !---but , this is a special time for you Two. Safe travels and blessings......
I've been a Southerner all my 55 yrs, and yes, this is the worst part of the year. If you can handle it, you'll be fine because the rest of the year is super nice.
Hi Crystal I am so happy to see you are enjoying Arkansas. We lived there for 3 years and are now back in Wisconsin. That is shale, it's every where there. That is a wet weather creek, when it rains in Arkansas it flash floods quickly. Watch the ticks, they are really bad including deer ticks and they are tiny!! Enjoy your stay.
Rose, that was my next question ------> TICKS! I know the woodland shade is beautiful.....but ticks are no joke! After living in a part of Northern California that had ticks galore.......I decided to move to a slightly drier climate.
Josie and I watched your video while making goat milk cheddar this morning. So happy for you guys and hope you find your dream place where ever you decide.
People think my husband and I are crazy , because we don't watch tv . You tube is my thing. Don't like pay for cable or internet. Glad your have a great time guys..
Arkansas is so VERY beautiful. And there is so much to see and do. The tiny cabin is super adorable. I hope you continue to really love your stay there in Arkansas and maybe even move there one day! :)
Oh such a cute little house and the shed, and cute area a path and maybe some deer or bears ??? Lol oh I can imagine the awesome smell of those cedar trees. Bears like hammocks hee hee that is so cute patio with the stones and fire pit
Hoping you find your forever property while you visit. I know how dry and hot Arizona is and your animals would love the greenery. The tiny cabin is amazing.
So very pretty hope you enjoy your down time you both deserve it😊😊 Thank you for taking us along on your journey I so enjoy it every time you vlog Love you guys❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I think that rock is shale, I could be wrong, but that's what it looks like when you were handling it.That is a really cute little place!!! Have fun!!!!!!
Hey Crystal nice to be in a nice quiet secluded area like that. That black material around the creek looks like a thin type of slate. I be seen slate material in a creek and a lake and it might have been a formation from different sands and silica in the environment. I love your cute little B&B especially the wooden slab that was created and beautifully shellacked. Very nice tiny with a huge area to explore. Rest and enjoy.
Can only imagine how ALL your goats would go CRAZY with all the vegetation they could gobble up..the country side is beyond words..would LOVE TO SPEND A FEW DAYS THERE.. JUST AWESOME !!!
I rented a camper for 2 months and it has all house amenities. It's frankly the type of place I could life in permanently according to the description. I don't need space like that. Outside space is perfect and huge where I am staying, and remote.
I’d say you get use to the humidity, but you don’t…you just learn to live with it. 😂 You couldn’t pay me to move out of Arkansas though…I love it here.
That is shale...we also call it slate rock. Years and years ago children had a slate to use in school. Days before an abundance of paper, many times in a one room school.
Thanks for taking us along on your travels. The tiny house is so cute. Saw them making some of those on TV. Shale rock...where there's shale, there's coal. That's what they used to tell us in PA where I grew up. That humidity is why I moved away and came to CO, couldn't take it anymore. Yes, we get the temps (not as high as AZ) but at least it cools at night so you can sleep.
Thank you for the same opportunity as Dolly C. I travel vicariously due to health reasons. BUT I REALLY ENJOY your vlogs I believe you see so much more in the surroundings as well as the words & emotions in the place with the people. Your place doesn't appear to have enough land for an AirB&B with all the goats lands. Only been watching a short while trying to get the episodes in order. My sisters said "RU-vid would be easy,"it isn't!
The flaky rocks are slate/shale. We use them for stepping stones on the lawns to your door. They are more lovely and have more appeal than cement slabs.
It looks wonderful, I can enjoy watching you enjoy it. Being out in the woods alone makes me nervous. Maybe I watch too many deliverance types of movies 😂😂😂
We have slate and shale here in Virginia and I believe that is slate. Shale is a lighter color with some grey white and rust colors. Then again I may have that backwards. That area is a lot like Virginia Skyline Drive Shenandoah State Parks with cabins, overlooking the Shenandoah Valley where I live. Love the little cabin. Enjoy!!!
Chrystal's going to have fun when she sees Arkansas quartz or when they find the Crater of Diamonds! I hope to run into them somewhere after they get moved. Also, Arkansas isn't the "sportsman's paradise" Louisiana made that claim decades ago, but Arkansas is proud to be "the Natural State." BTW, there are no trout in La and no caves either! Adventure awaits; the channel just keeps getting better!
You make me miss Arkansas soooo much! I spent 9 years there stationed at Little Rock AFB. Northern AR and all of MO are so gorgeous. I hope you find the perfect place. I can't wait to watch and see.
That place looks great! I have liked in Las Vegas so I know what 115° in the shade is like. I now live in Florida were I spent every summer as a kid. I will take Florida summer heat and humidity over dry dessert heat any day. Reasons #1 you can find shade under trees. #2 When the breeze blows in Florida it is a cool breeze. When the breeze flows in Nevada and you feel like you are in an oven, the breeze feels like a hair dryer set on high. #3 When you buy ice cream at the store and you get home you have ice cream not ice cream soup. Enjoy your vacation.
bet you guys are just soaking up the green and water. So happy for you. Makes me realize what I take for granted. We don' t have many mountains, a couple small ones in the U P (Porcupines) but we have LOTS of green, forest and water. MICHIGAN
What a beautiful little place! That looks like our property in KY. We're clearing out the scrubby trees, leaving the big ones. Thinking of building some little air b&b cabins.
