My opinion... is a winch is a must. As I was once told, all the accessories will get you deeper and farther, but the only one that will get you out of a situation is a good reliable winch.
Kept the IPC Coyotes on my TurboS4. Otherwise, your list is spot on. Went with a .5 windshield. However, I’d add upgrading electrical system because adding comms, stereo and lights is too much for the single stock accessory fuse. Great job DOR!
When I first bought my utv it didn't come with anything, bone stock. My first purchase from dealer was a windshield and roof along with a spare belt. Now I have more but those were the had to get upgrades.
I have had the same Teryx 2 that I bought new for 11 years. Granted it is used mostly on the farm, in grass and mud but it still wears the same tires that came on it, still runs the same belt and has never let me down. It has a plexi windshield for my #1, a top #2, rear cab cover #3, boot covers frnt & rear #4 and I added after mkt Power Steering #5. Granted the tread are getting short and the belt will get replaced soon and after a week & 400 miles of the Arapeen in a '18 Polaris General my top 5 hasn't changed but the next five sure have. Great suggestions Garrett and thanks to you guys for helping us less experienced participants. Rich Machholz
Great list! I especially agree on the coms, UTVs are way more fun if you can hear each other and are able to talk to your buddies - not to mention that these machines are way over the threshold for hearing loss. Are you going to do an update on your UTV gear load out? I imagine that list is changing continuously as you gain experience/break shit.
Quick question on reverse in the krx I’ve seen a couple of people saying that reverse is limited and you can’t get out of spots if you need to reverse uphill have you had any issues.
I put a 80 dollar 3 foot long light bar on my rig when I first got it 6 months ago and it's awesome. Things sweet. Tuff as well. I've never had any problems with it. 4 hundred dollars for a light bar is way over kill. Thank you for the video. Stay safe out there bro. God bless.
I would do like a 50” up to 53” will work with the EMP brackets. You’ll need to get those separately to mount the light bar. We don’t carry those brackets personally. 👍-Garrett
