To my ears these 3rd Gen Air pods are more comfortable compared to the newer Pro version with the soft gel tips. ru-vid.comUgkxgl8SzyQoymMu-S3V55Dskg5QJ8xr1yCR That said, compared to the 3rd Gen, I notice these do not stay planted in the ear as well. One design issue I think, is you squeeze the stem and click it twice to advance your songs. On 3rd gen you tap the large speaker. The difference is by grabbing the stem each time, you tend to loosen the bud fit in your ear. Not always, but the bud falls out a few times while running. The old tap to change never had that problem for me. I would not have changed that tap function. That said, the newer Pro version sticks in the ear, almost airtight if you want that. I do not like that Airtight fit. So that's why I'd stay with this version as the best trade off of comfort, use, and overall feel.

You can also change from noise cancelling to transparency mode by holding the pressure sensor until it chimes.

I picked mine up this afternoon and they’re great! Super comfy! The one fault for me personally is that the noise cancellation makes me a little dizzy if I just take one AirPod out to talk to someone and the music in the other ear momentarily keeps playing. Weird, but that’s a fault with my inner ear I guess and not the product.

Just got mine yesterday and they are so comfortable in my ears. Being hard of hearing, I"ve found the sound quality superb. Expensive? Yes, but essential if you have loss of hearing. Now to listen with great delight to my favourite Spotify playlist ...

It’s crazy how fast they charge and how long they last without battery I can literally last almost 2-3 days before it runs out of battery I love these upgrade from the regular AirPods for sure

Yo I use live listen when I am playing my acoustic guitar. It helps me practice so much cause it picks up so much of what I play that even my ears can’t rally hear. These things are amazing

How do you do the wireless charging status. I am tapping like a madman and nothing shows up (my pad is Mophie Streampad +) and yes it is charging...

I also noticed that there is another way to check the battery level. If you tap the button on the back of the case once, it will activate the LED light and you can check your battery level. This way, you don't have to constantly open the case.

I tried mine out in a crowded pub at lunchtime today. Brilliant ANC, and a long press on the right stem enabled me seamlessly to make my food and drink orders. Although, with the AirPods Pro wirelessly charging right next to me, I asked Siri on my iPhone what the battery status was, and she hadn't got a clue.

Does using live listen save AirPod battery power? One of the reasons I haven’t used my AirPods Pro for conference calls like I used to with my OG AirPods is the battery degradation that happened over a year of constantly using them for phone calls. If this fixed the crazy battery drain while enabling me to listen to audio through my AirPods Pro, I’d be crazy happy.

Mine are being delivered on February 5th. I honestly can't wait. I'm obsessed with them. Partially because AirPods 2 have to be adjusted in my ear every 30 seconds.

Why doesn’t the case LED just stay lit when wirelessly charging? You know? Maybe Apple can change with a firmware update etc

For resetting the AirPods, you don’t actually need to forget them from Bluetooth. Just by holding the button on the case while the airpods are inside the case, the light will turn white and will start blinking and there will be connect option on your screen. After pressing ‘connect’ your airpods will reset.

Can you adjust the volume with the airpods pro? Without using your phone. I know he mentioned you can change the feature between transparency and noise canceling. But not sure about the volume.
