The toxic stage really built character 😂 I feel like me and my man got over that toxic stage when we started taking accountability for our own attitudes. We always thought we were right and were always too stubborn to communicate

I appreciate you making this video! I feel like we can not confuse what society calls toxic to boundaries. Boundaries and respect are so important in a relationship and some people would consider it toxic. I believe toxic implies a person destroying your self of being and self confidence. Someone screaming at you and wanting to take control of your life. Beware of those people both girls and guys .

Honestly what you said is true EVERY relationship goes through a toxic stage! That is what kind of tells you if things will work out, if you can get through those obstacles and grow together. Love you both ❤ you guys are so real and relatable.

I loved this video! Thank you for talking about this topic. In my opinion, I think is normal yo go through a “toxic phase”, as long as you both grow out of it and learn to have a healthy relationship throughout the years. My husband and I went through a toxic phase at the beginning of our relationship and here we are 9 years later with 2 sons, married and overall healthy relationship. We have so many family members that judged us for staying together and not breaking up. My take on it is my husband and I both came from a broken home with childhood trauma, so we have had to work together through the years to re learn what a healthy relationship actually is. To me this assures me that Im with the right person because we are both willing to put in the work to be better for eachother and our kids. We also look back and can’ believe we got through a toxic phase, but here we are stronger than ever. 💕

Your lucky to have such a respectful man. Theres not many out there. But the important thing is to remember like you said to know your worth and love yourself!! Love you guys❤❤

I definitely think the word toxic has lost its original meaning over time and people have been throwing it around meaninglessly. I think everyone has a phase in which there’s things they need work on such as learning to communicate in each others love languages and to listen and grow together. To me toxic is controlling behavior, jealousy, belittling the other person and destroying each other at the end.

I’m 29 with 2 boys and I’ve been with my husband for 16 years . And we had our moments as well. But I do feel like the older we get time gets better together. I can’t see my life without him! ❤

from the outside looking in, my relationship with my man in the early stages seemed toxic even though it was nothing crazy just arguments that sprung out of nothing lmao, and add a bit of overprotectiveness to put it nicely and now almost 7 years later i laugh bc it's so funny to look at how relationship has grown and how we've better our understandings on each other

I feel like sometimes people get caught up In calling everything toxic & it’s not, it’s your feelings. It’s what you’re going through, it’s important to help each other navigate it and build each other up so you both feel secure.
