I was there a few weeks one winter and left a part of my ❤. Such a beautiful place. Each day came with unique weather and blessings. Because there had been frequent snowfalls, it was plowed along the sides of the highway so I couldn't do any exploring, but did capture both of the lighthouses. There are numerous waterfalls in the area I'd like to see but summer brings out biting black flies and mosquitoes. You can watch ships in the distance traveling between the Soo Locks and Duluth/Superior or Thunder Bay, Canada. Ah-h-h-h!
That's a great area. We used to rent cabins in South Range and do day trips north to Eagle and Copper Harbor. I hope you get to return. There is more to see.
