in my last video i mentioned our trip to hawaii in early 2020 (pre-pandemic) and how i vlogged that trip but never posted the footage due to my break. y'all said you still wanted to see it and i figured a travel vlog would be a nice change of pace after staying put for almost 2 full years! editing this gave me a nice temporary escape from the freezing temps and snow around me so i hope you enjoy :)

This is like watching ‘found footage’ during an almost post-apocalyptic event. ‘Look kids..in ye old days we didn’t wear masks or wash our hands every five seconds. And can you see how people know nothing about social distancing? Yeah, those were golden days’ You guys look like you had a great time😊

oh man, those were simpler times! thank you so much for sharing, what a beautiful trip 🥰 i'm glad you both got to have this experience before everything changed, especially james, like you can really see the stars in his eyes, he just looks like a lil kid witnessing this for the first time and it warms my heart! 🥺 (completely killed me with the moana bit! 💕)

I love this! I remember when y'all went because I was so excited for this vlog! LMAO I'm happy it's up now and that y'all had such a fun time!!!!! I LOL-ed at the turtle excursion edit about everyone getting seasick and then the immediate white claw reaction afterward.

Great video…it looks you two had a terrific time. It was so thoughtful of you to have James’ first trip to Hawaii be filled with all the things he was most excited about. My dad & step mom live in Maui. With every picture I took I remember thinking this is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen…until seeing the most beautiful thing I have ever seen two minutes later 😂. Your first snorkeling clips totally hit home. We. went on an extremely small rubber boat to see the humpback whales. The experience was absolutely priceless BUT I have never been so seasick in my life. I not only lost my lunch but my dignity as well 😂

Great trip. I don’t know about now, but in the past Pearl Harbor was an early morning trip. The tickets across to the site book up really early in the day so I’m not surprised James had to go early. Plus it’s all out in the open sun so thankfully he didn’t get to sunburned. I think you did great by staying at Hilton. Much more Hawaiian.Thanks for sharing. Loved the vlog.

Yeah we were warned it’s hard to get in if you don’t arrive early! I’m trying to remember when I went on my trip and I don’t remember getting up early or it being particularly busy but that was years and years ago. And I was shocked James never got sunburnt on this trip at all since he burns so easily haha I made sure he was always using his SPF!

Wow! Love that room view! 😍 Can you imagine how nice it would be to wake up everyday with a view like that? The açaí bowls looked delicious. 🤤 Also loved Mickey walking past the room in the background outside when they were giving you a tour of the hotel room at Aulani. Loved the little vlog, Sari. Except for the Dasani water you got for the mini fridge. 😂🤢

I never noticed Mickey haha that’s so cute! And I will not tolerate any Dasani slander, I know it’s trash but it’s my comfort bottled water 🤣
