Gutted for Jamie, so sad to see this happen to him. Hes such a good guy and you can tell he just wants to be racing with his friends. I feel so bad for him, but I know he'll be able to turn it around.
Yep what a devastating failure. I've never seen a block split in half like that before. 80psi is no joke. Hopefully he can get the spare in her and catch up with the rest just for fun.
We really gotta show Wyatt some love and appreciation! Not only has he brought the boostedboiz racing program to a level its never previously been on! Brent & Jamie were never as honest as Kyle needed. Wyatt Is like the comment section when needed living with Kyle! Keeps him honest and pays attention to details
i feel like at this point he is number obsessed. to finnish first you must first finish. how about running 10 10s on a car before you turn it up and try to run an 8 or a 7? get some life and joy out of a build before just fragging it at the upper levels.
@@aylahughes9185 Jamie has ran 8s a bunch of times not to long ago at that Import race in Orlando where they are headed and the only reason his block split in half is because the boost controller malfunctioned and it couldn't handle all of that crank case pressure causing the block to split in half......... The good news is by the looks of it it didn't hurt the internals and he needs to get a couple either aftermarket blocks or all billet blocks and a good rotating assembly and go for 7s
Just sitting here thinking about how far this channel has come. I literally got goose bumps. So stoked for all of you, it is truly awesome watching you all grow as a TEAM and FAMILY!! Keep up the great content and grind Bois!!
Damn shame about Jamie's car, hopefully he can get it back together quick. I was hoping to see all the boiz go the distance, but I'm loving the content regardless.
Excellent video as always, can't wait to see how the week goes! Appreciate the hard work to roll out the videos on the road too! Big love from Australia 🇦🇺
Great job!! Shifting flawlessly into third like a Boss! 😁😉 Seriously, Congrats on the great run and successful drive. I feel so bad for Jamie. He just keeps getting served up turd sandwich, after turd sandwich. But 80 psi is pretty impressive. If it's going to blow, go out with a big bang!
Finally hit that 3rd gear just right! 👍🏼👍🏼 Lol I know that struggle when it comes to the 3rd gear lol, I have a 94 integra with the JDM H22 swap but I have the F22 accord transmission with the long gear ratio. So I know how hard it is to hit that 3rd gear just right 🤣 😂. But I speak for everyone when I say can you please do some longer videos pretty please with cherries on top. And that sucks about Jaime’s car, I’ve never ever seen a block come apart like that before ever. His block blew apart like those Funny Cars and Top Fuel dragsters. Straight in half 🤯😱 This seriously looks like a lotta fun 💯👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Praying for y’all brothas for a safe trip and to get that top #1 spot 🏁🏁🏁
Good job ... you hit 3rd gear great ... not to mention you did all the building, design, and development of the car ... that is the big job ... but you did hit 3rd gear really great.
So proud of how far you come. It seems like just yesterday you could only do 2nd gear pulls, all that hard work is really paying off, congratulations on making it to third gear Kyle
Great job Kyle. Solid third gear. That first run was fast. Put into perspective the new C8 Corvette Z06 is a 10.1 second car. This zillion mile Civic just ran 9.6.
Bugger third gear, a well done on the complete package 😁 you have worked hard to get it to this point (third gear is just a small part of it) now you can reap the rewards Proud of you boys Tony from Western Australia 🇦🇺
Building the head won’t add any horsepower he needs to upgrade the turbo to get anything more out of the hatch. The turbo is maxed out. All building the head will do is it will make the same power at a lower boost level.
@@tomcelica yea you right. He should build the head and upgrade turbo then. Lower boost= more reliability. Smaller chance of blowing the engine. But then again, it’s a Honda motor.
A little trick me and the boys used to do, while your on the dyno, under full power measure the lift in the engine under load, then use Polly urethane under one motor mount, preload your motor angle forward to eliminate sloppy reaction times off the line
Awesome! Been watching since way back, when the hatch was the main car, creating content out of your mums garage. So cool you still have the hatch and still developing it amongst all the other machines. It’s 2 in the morning in Brisbane Queensland Australia, I couldn’t wait to see your Sick week content!! Boosted Boys, PFI Speed, Clittus McFarlian, Adam LZ all my favourite channels love seeing you guys on each other’s channels. Keep it up!!! P.s best of luck to Jame 👊
Even though I always stick up for you in the comments because I know what it's like to try to shift a stock tranny with more than 600 horsepower I'll still tell you congratulations on hitting all your gears so good for not driving it in so long to even your first launch was pretty dang good and to think you're only at like what 600 horsepower so much potential in this setup and swap very cool to see
@@Underpantsniper think he just runs those with his k swaps. His hatch I think has stayed the same setup. Besides making a ton of money and being able to shop anywhere but eBay for parts.
@@Underpantsniper lol I know but when he got made fun of it was almost always underbuilt or stick transmissions that were making shifting almost impossible above 6000 rpm it locks you out damn near .. now with his nice built transmissions it's way easier to shift
wow hes gonna have to build a block girdle for that thing lol crazy some of the old areo engines had a really lightwight block and the crank bolts went right up through and doubled as head bolts so they held up
I can't help but smile! Great job Kyle and Wyatt in getting this car sorted out and making a rip right off the trailer. Those that rag on you the most I bet misses third gear when they borrow their mom's Kia
Nice shifting kyle, and you did it on the first pass. The OGs will always have your back. This channels content has been progressively getting better. Keep it going.
This channel has come such a long way down to the build and your mindset. I love it so much bro, keep winning. I hope to be at your success and happiness soon. 🙏🏻
So I'm guessing since the hatch is doing so good next race week type event like this Wyatt can drive the hatch and you can drive the roudyssey in all wheel too you both just need co-drivers. For the record I'm available what ever time you need me as a co. I can turn wrenches as well, you know if you need to know.
Congratulations on a new PB and finally hitting third gear. I have missed this car so much. I asked you at every Cleetus and Cars if you brought it. Hopefully she makes it to the next one.
Kyle GREAT JOB HITTING 3RD‼️ THAT WAS CLEAN AF‼️ .... But do you think you could clean up your 1-2 shift? Granny shiftin not double clutchin like ya should be 😉 LoL great job man!
Hell!!! Ya!!! Kyle you nailed 3rd gear!!!! 🎉🥳👌💪😎👍 lol we love you bro don't be so sensitive😉 sweet first run, old Honda looks amazing out there. 9.68 first showing 👏 you and Wyatt put together a solid car she gonna cruise through sick week 💪😎👍
Awesome first rip in the 4wd Hatch!! 🔥🔥 I love your videos if you break it, miss 3rd, or whatever!!! People just jealous if they talking sh!t about missing 3rd....
LOL his 2 step is at 15lbs my max boost is like 17 to 18 at best.. I don't have anything like they have, I have like a 13 second car, with a 6 second 0-60.. It is what it is..
Kyle.....you slotted that third like with the precision of a brain surgeon.....I have possibly never seen third gear selected quite so well......the combination of speed and accuracy was beautiful to behold. My life felt empty before i witnessed it.....but now i have a reason to keep going....i now know amazing things CAN happen.....I'll be honest, it's been life changing. love from UK
Nice AWD Build and Launch pretty fast! That Block Damage is insane. Sorry Jamie for the fast end at 80 Pounds of Boost in Burnoutbox xD it fuuks up man. PFi Speed and Boosted Boiz just going crazy again =D It's nice to see your progress. Growing so fast up as a Team PFi and Boiz belongs together like Sparkplug, Gasoline and boost =D missing Emilio and Roman to see again. Greatings from European Idiot Union.
I have always loved the boostedboiz and kyle...but he seems to be getting a little cocky imo. Like the way he revs the hatch, and looks around to see everyone's reaction, almost like "ya 😏 im cool" is really cringy. STAY HUMBLE KYLE! keep a little reminder of where u came from. Not hating, just noticing Kyle changing. Could just be growing up tho 🤣
Is it just me or does Jamie just get the worst kind of luck man he works so hard on that damn car,but seems like she's always fighting him. AND HELL YEA BROTHR KYLE GOT 3RD GOOD JOB KID!!
Way to row em Kyle!... Missing 3rd is just a tear from the past, water under the bridge, and the hatch is friggin' getting it! Cant wait for the full send back at Bradenton. Is you're class anything above 8.99? Sucks about Jamie's block too.
Kyle, 3rd gear - no longer a problem. It sucks about Jamie's engine, He seems to have nothing but bad luck, It never stops him, though. I really don't think Shane should be called Goofy anymore, the quality of his work & the speed of his car, nothing Goofy about that. So Shane, well done;.
Congrats on hitting 3rd dude, was watching for it from the get go of the intro, first clip you only let us saw mid way into 2nd, i was like ahh he’s gonna make us wait, then the second camera angle showed you clear 3rd kleeeeen, letssss goooooo HATCH GETS THE MOON TUNE 🌚
Well people spend hrs cutting stuff in half on a engine block.. jamie from PFI speed did it i less then 10sec's.. with 80psi..Due to boost controller manifaction..lol..bet the valves & valve springs might be still good.
Between that sweet 3rd, fans fender rollers, Sam the village elder blessing y'all.. swear I think you've elevated to swami, maharishi or yogi.. or whatever.. point is I'm glad things are going your way. In my experience this is when a person should double down on smart stuff like safety and keeping driving records clean (much pain and regret has taught me this). Enjoy! Kick ass this week man. Wyatt is killing it too. I hereby dub y'all Hondarishi and Hogi.. print the shirts.
