We had a lovely stay at the Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa just outside Limerick City. During our stay we explored Limerick City & headed out to Lough Gur.
I was really taken with the history at Lough Gur. People have lived there for over 6,000 years! There is a beautiful Lough Gur Heritage Centre that explains the history of the area. The audio walking tour was so interesting to learn about the history and the folklore surrounding Lough Gur.
A short drive from Lough Gur is the Stone Circle at Grange. It’s the largest stone circle in Ireland and has a spiritual feeling about it.
