Britain is in the middle of storm icha . Lot of damage so far and not finished. So watching this video takes me away from listening to the strong winds. ( gusts over 100mph)
LOL Glad it is just not me.. I did that exact thing 2 weeks ago.. My large casserole dish splattered all over the oven.. It was so much fun cleaning up that mess..lol I said the same thing you did.. I can't believe I did that! I know better, but for some reason I did it..
Glad to hear your husband is feeling better but sorry your stomach is being a pain! I remember when I was a teenager and everyone in our house got strep throat, no fun. My little brother, we used to call him "Typhoid Toddy" because he always brought everything home and got everyone sick, started it and everyone was sick for nearly two weeks. Four sick kids and 2 miserably sick parents too. Of course, Mom and I (being the oldest girl) were sick and doing everything we could to take care of everyone while being sick ourselves. I sincerely hope no one else in the house gets sick, crossing my fingers for you! On a much happier note, your meals look wonderful as usual. Congratulations on 5,000 subscribers! Where I live, we had a cold front last Monday . The high was 15° and the low was 2°. Today, the temperature is 42° with a low of 36°. It has finally stopped snowing, and the snow is melting. Have a wonderful week.
Christmas day I pulled our stuffing out of the oven and set the glass dish on a burner that I didn't know was on. Dish exploded so had to throw turkey etc in the trash. So sad. But we will do a do over when it gets a little warmer.
We have all broke a pan that way I was so mad at myself when I did it but many years later I chock it up to a lesson learned. We had 8 inches of snow in Tennessee and we have had that same cold temperature it has been in single digits or less all week we tried to go play in the snow and after 15 minutes our hands had turned completely white I told the kids I'm out its to cold I have severe arthritis and it was already bad from the cold we still have lots of snow kids will go back to school tuesday we were out for a week and a day. It is suppose to warm up to the 50's tomorrow and I am thankful! Great meals of the week take care and stay safe!
My mom was babysitting my 3 month old son and decided to boil bottle parts. Then she sat down to rock my son and they both fell asleep. Needless to say she apparently forgort water in the pan and she swears it was on fire. Does she call 911. No, she calls me at work 25 minutes away and I call 911. She threw the pot out on my patio. However, my husband was a fireman was in the next district and heard the call over the radio and headed to our home. They actually beat the Ft. Worth Fire Department. Long story short ending. My house was not on fire. Pan and its contents were all melted together and ruined. There were 4 fire trucks at my home. Lovely.
My brother left humming bird food (sugar water) on the stove once. He went outside to do something and forgot it. Came back to the house full of smoke. Luckily nothing else was damaged.
OHH I am so sorry that happened, I remember the day I did it when I was young and just married. You have a lot going on in your house, your brain must be fried by dinner
Not sure when your nausea happens, but I get nauseous if I lay down flat on my back. I broke my jaw when I was 10 and I think that affected my inner ear. Don’t know if that’s helpful but maybe it’s not your stomach maybe it’s your ears or your sinuses…?
