We live in the country.. our cat lives here to keep field mice out of our house. She does eat everything she kills even with our daily feed for her. And because she lives fully outside she is a lean 20 yr old cat-she lives the way God intended💕

@@Coffeeislife33 in 1966 my dad died of cancer. He left 3 little girls, 13, 12 and 8. My mom had to get a job. We had a very nice home. We had what we needed but not much else. We didn’t whine if we didn’t get what we wanted. Things were much different then. Since you’ve probably never walked in my shoes you wouldn’t know what it was like. Kayla buying a cosmetic holder at Goodwill for Sophia was what made me think of getting something you didn’t have to have, but it was nice to have. Some of grew up without. I noticed that Matt and Kayla were buying things for the kids making sure that they had some special items. I don’t believe my comment was odd at all.

I do agree! We have one indoor cat, and two barn cats. They catch mice, rats, moles, voles, squirrels and rabbits and nothing is wasted except the guts. If you live in the country, barn cats are a must!

You two are so sweet and your compassion for animals is touching. Harsh as it may be, though, sometimes 'rescue' interference isn't always a good idea. Animals have instinctual behaviours that involve more than hunt and kill. I learned the hard way. =( As always, you are both fun to watch. RU-vid pickers need more than the ability to pick, to be interesting...personality is a must and y'all have it in spades.

There are metal shelves that hold the yellow topped black bins in a way that you can just slide them in and out instead of stacking them. Might be an option for your “wait to list” area. C o s t c o currently sells them, I have also seen clear bins with yellow tops if preferred over the black ones

Kayla & Matt just a tip:for the gamer rocker chair if it smelled like cigarette just leave it outside for a couple or days and wipe it down with oder ban and Mr. Clean. Especially that material. For the clothing use lysol disinfectant for the laundry.

Im so surprised that trolls are still so popular. When i was younger in 60s i had to have my troll and stuffed tiger to sleep with...plus my sis ordered me a stuffed Pillsbury dough boy...when my mom passed i found all 3 in a drawer that she kept sentimental items...of course i cried when i saw them....

Kayla my cat used to bring baby bunnies in thru the pet door and put them in front of the TV. He didn't kill them. I was told by my vet that it is a gift from him. 😂 😂

The highest value RL label is RRL, not LRL. RRL stands for Ricky Ralph Lauren…very collectible. RL Collection & Purple Label is also good. The original blue pony and Country labels are good and becoming harder and harder to find. Love y’all’s videos ❤️

YES PLEASE house updates!!! I know the house you bought I'm in cincinnati and drove to where you are to tour houses with my friend. I recognized something unique in kitchen when Matt was in Laundry room & realized it's the one we looked at She didn't take it because of the step down into one of the rooms & it wasn't that wide of an area. it was my 1st choice for her (trying to be discreet) BEAUTIFUL though. (and no don't anyone bother contacting me I will NOT give it away)

Kayla that chair was a great chair. You can clean almost anything with rubbing alcohol. Leaves no stains since it evaporates. And it smells like a new item. I used to bypass stuff because of smokers too… but my neighbour told me about the rubbing alcohol trick.Dry cleaners use rubbing alcohol to get stains out.Dollar tree and Dollarama has the rubbing alcohol 1:25 each. I always stock up. Also peroxide works great on whites in the washing machines. I wash my white clothes/ white sheets comforters/ pillow cases and pillows. with peroxide and laundry soap. Just letting you know. Btw I love your channel and you and your significant other are GREAT. ❤️

I use rubbing alcohol on a rag to get makeup stains out of purse linings and off of unwashable plush.

Not always. Non-smokers who are sensitive to the smell can tell if it has just been "washed." There are some items that the smell never leaves. If the cushion inside absorbed the smell - good luck with that. I could never have it in my house.

You guys keep talking about getting tables for shipping and packing and as a tall person myself, who had difficulty finding a table that was tall enough to be at a comfortable working height, I resorted to using a set of bed risers. It may not be pretty but it definitely works. It would most likely put the table at a comfortable height for Matt to work at while standing while not being too tall for Kayla. Great finds in this video guys!

Cats are a necessity when you live in a rural area. Our closest neighbour is 1/4 mile away. Hay fields and wood lots all around us. Worth their weight in gold keeping critters away.

You did really great at the yard sale at the end. I would have bought some of those items too. Especially the Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy dolls, the tea towels....... I sometimes find when things are so good like that, it can be overwhelming and after you have paid and got it all back to the car. It can be really good to take a minute, have some coffee or whatever, clear your mind, reset and go back as if you have just arrived and just take another look. (I don't always take my own advice though then I wish I had done this when it is too late!) That has not happened where we are from this year, I hope it improves we are coming home with next to nothing or literally nothing when we always used to come home with loads. My dang cat Loves baby bunnies and devours them. I still feel horrid, but they do over run our neighborhood and if it's not the cat, then coyotes are next in line. They are really fragile and hard to save even if there isn't much damage (tried many times), so it's probably best to just let things happen, so don't feel bad.

My outside feral cats who have all been trapped and released leave me little surprises on my front porch all the time. I’m sure the UPS and Amazon delivery folks are apprehensive about bringing packages to my door! Lol
