What I meant is the first opening looks like a chill slice of life adventure anime . But the second opening has that Action vibes . Especially when King Bosse swinging his Weapon .

I thought I would be dissatisfied too bc I really liked the first one, but honestly both the theme songs are so good in their own right. The first one had a more cute and wholesome tone and this one just seems more mature and cool and I like that.

I didn’t care much for the first one but the second hits so damn hard that I have to watch the opening every time. It makes me nervous for when season 2 comes out because I don’t think it will top or even match how great this opening is.

They're both good but this is one I always love to replay every now and then. The opening alone was a rollercoaster of emotions which is why its my favourite and I'm so glad WIT was the one who did the story justice

@@shravanvyapari490 I'm studying japanese at university bro, been studying it for 13 years. Nokoshite "ittana" doesn't even exist. ittana is no word. the word it "itta" which mean left in past tense. "Nokoshite itta" = leave behind. "namakura" is then a dull sword. And I said check the line before. Song is not about stand-alone lines, it continues the previous one.

I agree. But in the song it translates to a blunt sword. So the translation of that sentence is "This blunt sword that someone left behind, before the darkness consume... " I know the meaning but before the darkness consume what? Is it connected to the next sentence?
