Interesting! While these two analysts make some excellent picks throughout, they got lazy in their predictions on the Women 100m and 200m. They went the route of "stating what was the obvious to them". That's always a bad approach. Granted that there are no certainties on race day, all we can use are logical probabilities. It is more likely that Julien Alfred will win the 100m because the Richardson woman will have to run down 3 speedy front runners (not one) in the form of Shelly, Julien, and Tia. That's not an easy thing to do. Richardson knows that and would have to run the risk of false-starting to get in touch early with the others. She is the one feeling the pressure, not the others. Shericka Jackson is most likely to win the 200m. The analysts do not seem to understand that her Coach's decision to withdraw from the 100m was to give her a calculated chance to win a Gold medal (and not just to win any medal). Gabby Thomas does not have the heart of a Shericka, which is a big factor, even when Shericka is not at her very best. To see the Analysts' dismissal of Shericka's chances to win is more than interesting. Apparently, they don't even think the race will be close. Because if they did, why would they not err on the side of picking their country woman. If they get this one wrong, both of them should pack up and leave Jamaica if that's where they are living presently! Can I get the Analysts to agree to this!?

So if the young and inexperience will not win and the old and experienced will not win either so who will win then?
