OUT NOW - Originals Orchestra 

(Updated post) These were my first packs from Spitfire I owned outside of the LABS products. It helped me figure out what direction I wanted to go in and have since purchased Spitfire's Appassionata Strings (for the legatos), Eric Whitacre Choir (for a smoother sound verses the Originals Epic Choir), and just got the newer Albion Colossus (literally got last night and 2 hours to go on the download. will update this comment later with more about this comparing Colossus and this Original Epic series). Original Epic series verses Albion Colossus: So after using Albion Colossus for a while now, I wish I had gotten it sooner. There are much more detailed sounds in the plugin than the Originals Epic series. And the hairpins are fantastic. I don't regret getting the Original Epic series of plugins. But I feel a lot better about the Albion Colossus plugin and getting my money's worth verses when I purchased the Original Epic series of plugins. If you can hold on and go for an Albion or higher-end plugin later on, I suggest doing that. These Original Spitfire packs are great and made it easy to use, understand, and apply to my workflow. Good stuff and highly reccomended. Can you remake all these sounds on your own without Spitfire? Absolutely. Is this still worth it since these sounds can be reproduced on your own? Worth every penny. I look forward to buying more from Spitfire soon (Specifically looking into the newer Abbey Road series).

I have the Originals Orchestra, and the BBC Symphony Orchestra, and I have to say that while there are a lot of different VST's, plug ins, etc. Spitfire instruments are excellent. And another cool thing Spitfire has is where they teamed up with Output Arcade, and they have a line called Overture, and those instruments are awesome. Spitfire is on fire.

I had bought 3 including library, and it became a bundle several days later. Such an unlucky boy I am😇

This could be a good choice for students of music composition, due to the relatively low price for a complete orchestra and ease of use.

How about completing Abbey Road One first? We need more legatos sections and solo instruments at the very least!

I own everything but the piani and the pads but also seeing how to USE the samples is such a great help! I don't fully understand everything but I look forward to digging in more!

Nice offer - but I'm not gonna buy anything from Spitfire until the "My Authorized Spitfire Plugin Does Not Make Sound on M1" - Issue isn't fixed. Kind of annoying to wait that long for a solution. Have you guys got any information, when this will be fixed?

I purchased Abbey Road One because of all the hype Spitfire put into it. Then, they left it unfinished. Instead, they are pushing Originals! Orchestra, which is a repackaging of already available libraries. Some of the included libraries themselves are repackaging of earlier libraries like Albion One. Spitfire, please finish Abbey Road One first. Give us more legatos, solo instruments, etc..... A great many customers are waiting.

huh. Kinda disappointing. I already have all those except Firewood. And I have several pianos that would do just as well. That said, they certainly are good for sketching apart from the brass which has only octave patches. That really should be mentioned right up front. The brass has only octave patches which greatly limits what you can use it for. But repackaging things that have been available for ages feels like a bit lazy.

Where do these samples come from?? They’re not recording new samples for these, it’s obvious. So why don’t they mention which previous library they’re pulling these from??

Demo too wet with reverb! 😢 would like to hear it drier. Still amazing stuff.
