After a major accident in 2007 left her an incomplete paraplegic, Shelley Cronau faced a situation few of us could even imagine. The following year, as she was still coming to terms with her new circumstances, she found herself watching the 2008 Paralympics basketball. It was then that her life took another turn, but this time for the better.
Shelley immediately started playing wheelchair basketball, and as quickly as 2011 she was in the national team.
From there the accolades and medals became the norm, but as you’ll discover in our chat, there were some pretty big lows to accompany those amazing highs.
