My best guess for why gregorys full model gets called in at 6:05 is because of raytracing. When you enter the screen you should be able to see yourself in the reflection of the monitor.

My theory is that those water silos in the unused model viewer are actually supposed to call in the other models and spawn them in as you are flipping through the models.

That’s a neat find with the arcade cabinets! It makes sense for how a little kid can see the screens without needing a stool or something!

Ya know what I bet it is with the Chica cutscene? They have Gregory's entire model called in because you can't normally see his legs.

it still amazes me that in the trash compactor scene, they made it look like they fall vertically but they "fall" horizontally instead

12:16 My guess as to why the full Gregory model is used here is because of the end, where he kicks Chica and gets dragged down. I think it was always meant to be in first person, because of the kinda unpolished look of movement (in comparison to Chica) and excess foot slide, alongside the blank stare on Gregory's face. I think, since it's probably hard to estimate how much of Gregory's lower body and torso would be shown on camera during the animation (especially the falling and kick), they just animated the whole thing with the full model rather than floating legs and arms. Just a guess though!

13:29 That fenced-off watery area in Gator Golf is where I theorised that Bonny's remains had been hidden by Monty. In addition to being the best location in this zone to conceal a body, it's thematically-appropriate, given that real alligators allegedly store their kills underwater for later consumption. Still holding out hope for some DLC later that will let us investigate and solve this mystery.

Gregory's full model is honestly perfect for his character, it captures the spooked kid, maybe a bit rough around the edges, but well intending.

7:45 Last night I had a dream about this. I was able to walk around the outside area, but there was an entire city instead of just a few roads and trees. Boy, do I wish this game had a free-roaming mode with no enemies or locked doors.

My guess for why they used the full model in the cutscene is because they feature his legs in the cutscene. And it might've been easier to use the whole model rather than just cut off part of his torso.

Gregory's full model is added in because you can see yourself in the cameras on the faz-watch. So it would be weird just to be in an area where you are and just see nothing or just a limb.

I'm actually somewhat hopeful they're still working on this game. It's clearly not finished. They most definitely ran out of time and/or budget, but you can tell that with just a little bit more dev time it could be much more complete.

So the full model phasing in at 6:10 probably has to do with the parts & service minigame itself. When you finish a minigame in P&S, the camera view will move back to where Gregory is standing. To let the player know that they're back 'in' Gregory, they loaded his full model.

This game loves out of bounds finders so much, it enables you to see out of bounds without cheats!

I wonder if Vanessa Turing towards the no longer there door by Freddy’s room was originally meant to be her going inside of it?

I really hope that they'll use the unused stages for the expansion of the game.

At 14:27, interesting tidbit is that when Monty does spawn after his jumpscare, the idle model is still there. If you manage to hide before he gets to the end of the hallway and backtrack, you can enter the area and see him in person even though the "real" Monty is still looking for you in the hallway. Idle Monty still jumpscares you if you get too close though, haha.

“If you can clip through a wall” You can! Just press the spacebar when entering Freddy and everything deloads allowing you to freely roam through walls! (Depending on your PC quality it will either be slow or fast to reload the enviroment)

If I remember correctly Steel Wools team in FNAFSB kept getting really passionate about the game and kept adding on more and more things every time Scott checked in on them. Which is why so many delays happened cause they couldn’t meet deadlines due to how much they added. All these areas where it’s actually textured but not used is most likely something they tried to use more but was told to scrap it so they could release the game.

Came into the video not expecting anything new considering I've been watching other people go out of bounds but was genuinely surprised! Saw a lot that I hadn't before and it's a great reminder to never judge a book by its cover, cause even if you think you know the contents there's always something you missed.

I was afraid you weren’t going to tackle this one as someone had already posted an insane number of videos like the day after this game came out.

Was hoping you'd make a video for this game! One thing you didn't show that I was curious about, how do the animatronics spawn in the when you alert a security bot? A lot of the times it seems like they suddenly appear out of nowhere, especially when you're faraway from where you last saw them. For example, at the end of game, Monty is patrolling the Fazcade, but when I alerted a security bot in the Daycare, he appeared there and killed me within seconds. But other times it seems like the animatronics have to run to you and kill you, especially if they're alerted when you're close to them.

I think the silos could be like something similar to how sonic adventure has rings or objects randomly placed in stages, the objects were shuffled around during development and it changed the object that was intended to something else, but they left it in due to them never finishing that section likely due to the player never never going there. In Sonic’s Twinkle Park, there exists a version of the room Amy goes in while running away from ZERO. All the traps have been replaced with doors due to object errors, I feel like these silos have gotten the same effect

i think the character selection thing was meant to be something from fnafvr? like in fnafvr, you have something similar, so maybe it was a custom thing since you can't really pick and choose stuff in SB, thus giving to option for custom nights, hardcore modes, etc etc?

6:48 this is accurate to some arcade cabinets, they used a semitransparent mirror and CRT laying flat inside to give a holographic effect which really looked cool for games like Space invaders - the game would appear to be floating inside the cabinet.

You see inside these models all spherical shapes full polygon and such, and then you take the fazblaster and see that it's very low poly, seeing an in-game object that you will see often having less polygons then an hidden one like drives me crazy

4:33 I KNOW WHY it looks that way. the statue must have been one of the original character models. they basically used a remesh or retopology tool to quickly create a muddy and statue ish version of the original model. the skull is just a left over from the metal skeleton in the OG model

Micro center is legitimate. I got my first PC their recently and it was the most educating experience. Everyone their plays games to or at least understands what you mean. Honestly amazing!

Those unused areas are some of the best out of bounds stuff I've seen on your show. Restoring unused content is a great out of bounds part, showing outside the main game what couldn't been. Entire area unused yet existing. It's like christmas when finding the entire Half Life 2 beta of models, art and the entire made beginning of the beta. Enough stuff to add for more gameplay. I'd love to see them release an update using these areas.

Those hallways beside each room are likely remnants from the 'S.T.A.F.F. tunnels plan'. The map was intended to be able to be fully navigated using maintenance tunnels, but this was cut due to time constraints, just like most other things. It was going to basically free up the map's traversal in exchange for an alternate threat - Roxy, Monty and Chica wouldn't be down there, but naked endoskeletons would. By the way, the daycare attendant's forms are not named Sunnydrop and Moondrop - those are their marketed candies, respectively to give children energy or to keep them asleep (yes, Fazbear Entertainment gives sleeping pills to kids essentially). The two forms are simply Sun and Moon, and the overarching title is, disappointingly, never expanded beyond 'The Daycare Attendant'.

Kinda sad there weren't more zoom outs of locations like the Atrium, the Daycare, Roxy Raceway, etc. also woulda liked to see an up-close view of things like Blob / Molten Freddy, the giant Freddy head outside of the Springtrap boss fight pizzeria, and DJ Music Man coming out of the tunnel before the hallway chase sequence.
