I personally like these pre-recorded sessions, especially with the little edits that are put in.

I do appreciate the set up that goes behind it. They even say sometimes Johnny will tell them ahead of time if a quest relates more to them. So Egbert knowing what the place was and wanting to avoid it just highlights that. (and maybe discussion between them if Mike suggested the place or Johnny told him) Small things. Not a dick dm

I'm so glad Prudence mentioned the eye patch. I was freaking out about that. Was it random editing? Was it always there? Am I having a stroke? Nope it's the latest of eye patch technology.

Well, I, for one, am VERY much looking forward to seeing all the amazing fanart from this adventure! Especially Seabert, as well as Prudence's horrifying spider climbing.

Johnny's ability to roll with absolute nonsense really is legendary.

I am returning to the city of my holy order with, negative atonement disguised as a giant sea horse over the shoulders of a bard and a pirate telling people they can look at me for one copper coin like he's P.T Barnum.Minus one kidney.

Johnny, there needs to be an Oxventure where they swap bodies. I'd love to see the chaos where they try to adjust to each other's spells.

Dobb screaming "oh no, the consequences!" is how you know you are playing a great DnD game. And makes me think of the party I run a game for.

The Spider-climb reveal was as perfect as i pictured it! Dob: Can you climb up? Prudence: Yes, but only creepily Dob: Can you help us up? Prudence: No Dob: Can't or won't? Prudence: Yes

Johnny then sighs in relief and takes a swig from his mug. Poor, poor Johnny. It's not even 30 minutes in and Dob's already making him drink

I can't tell if Andy chose that hat because of it's awesomeness or just to annoy every artist trying to draw Corazon... Probably both.

Mike's acting was too good. For a minute I got concerned he was actually upset about the choice of quest.

Am I the only one surprised Dob didn't try and put Egbert into a papoose?

Sprinting and jumping for HOURS to get to a village? Dob is every MMORPG player ever.

So many things I loved here: Everyone sprinting everywhere (sprint is the new mode of transportation), Prudence and Corazon grimacing when Dob wants to talk about feelings, Johnny's face when Dob suddenly uses Calm Emotions for the first time, Prudence using her spider climb for the first time (actually I love that everyone's trying out their new skills), Dob using Calm Emotions but Corazon (and Merilwen) aren't affected so he continues to pick a fight and then the sudden "Indifference ends if the target is attacked or harmed...", whenever Calm Emotion wears off in the middle of their conversation and they have to think quick, Merilwen suddenly turning into a bear was hilarious, and how AMAZING the video editing job has been, I love the graphics, I love how well they reflect what they're all doing, and I appreciate all the effort put into it.

Is Merilwen just going through different nature phases? I swear with the amount she hangs out with prudence she’s gonna get into a volcano phase. Edit: I love how the RU-vid survey is 100 that they succeed in their plans.

So Cthulhu dad and Sun-Cow mom and/or dad trying to get their chaotic heathen children to make subjectively “good” choices. I love everything

My favorite thing is Andy just going "Okay, fine" and taking off his eye patch making Johnny immediately going "Okay now it takes very little time for you to adjust"

I always love home sessions, because we get Bendix's drawings!!

These videos honestly make me more excited when I see the notification than anything else on youtube

Haha - Jane's face when Mike said "Juggle my tinnies" was priceless! You could almost see the thought-process ending with "Oh, TINNIES".

My face hurts from all the laughing. Wonderful video, can't wait for the next episode! Also the "detective vision" and other artwork-montages were an awesome addition.

I... did not hear "tinnies" during Egbert's intro. It was something that rhymed with "kitties", and would be anatomically impossible for a reptile.

Corazon has a new hat..... but MERILWEN HAS AN OWLBEAR!!! (side note: I love that the DRAGONBORN tells the ELF and the ORC "not a sea dragon, I don't think those exist" Sea dragons, sea serpents, and sea horses are all real, but I guess that's why Egbert's wisdom is -1)

Dob: Jealous fellas? What a catch! Guard: I nearly caught one that big but then someone shot an arrow in my knee.

The murder-hobos have wandered back into our lives! Praise to Cthulhu-Dad and Sun-Cow!

The Sun-Cow is a wondrous body, like a magnificent father. If only I could be so grossly incandescent!

The live adventures are pretty funny, especially with crowd input, but I prefer these prerecorded adventures just because Johnny gets to work everything out a bit more and not rush through just to finish in time.

Johnny's shocked pikachu face at 44:37 was priceless. Can't wait for the next one!

The Oxventurers are like the D&D Guardians of the Galaxy. You have Prudence who’s Gamora (obviously), Merilwen who’s Rocket (because animals), Egbert who’s Groot (because dumb kind and strong), Corazón who’s Star-lord (also obvious), and Dob who’s Drax.

I think Johnny starting his table top channel will have to develop a mind palace that looks exacty like the quest givers market

I love it when they play D&D this way instead of playing it live in front of people. They have plenty of time this way and they don't rush through stuff 🙌

Corazon's loyalty to Meowlwin was the most honorable he's been the whole campaign. I half expected him to sell the cat for the sweet, sweet loot.

i love how every table has their own style, something like critical role takes their lore and their storytelling very seriously, the oxboxtra crew, has sir jeeves with quest gives who have question marks over their heads, and both are just as great

10/10 Corazon tries to steal the wealth of the Paladin Order.

It must be such a relief for Jane to just be herself when the others get dressed up

The Great Pickle Quest of 2019 is now one of my favorite Oxventure moments.

I'm pretty sure Spider Climb just let's you walk up walks as if they were the floor, but I love that the whole creepy Dracula climb is just how Prudence rolls.
